PWInsider.com reported months ago when we broke news of the WWE NXT-CW Network deal that one of the possibilities being bandied about was NXT talents being given acting opportunities on other CW Network series.
The first NXT star to take advantage of that bridge will be Tony D'Angelo as Variety reported he has landed a guest starring role on the second season of CW Network series Wild Cards.
Their report notes, "WWE champion D’Angelo will play Jaws, a formidable and commanding criminal mastermind."
The series' second season kicks off in February 2025.
