Match 1: Bryce Donovan (w/ Smart Mark Sterling) vs Kris Statlander
This is gonna bang. Statlander coming out to her traditional BeeGee’s music. This is how it should be. As even as this matchup is to start, Sterling is making his presence felt. That said, Kris is taking Bryce down at the knees and levels him with a missile dropkick. But of course, he comes Sterling with the cheap shot to keep his tall sugar baby on top. Bryce fakes out the ref with some ring tape and strangles her with another chunk. Stat fights to her feet, hard shots to Donovan! Sole food! Huge German for two! Kris’ one weakness here is power…she keeps trying to muscle Bryce up but it’s not happening. High angle chokeslam from Bryce outta nowhere! Kick out! Kris raging up again! Bryce eats a ton of shots but dodges and Statlander posts herself. Bryce with a PEDIGREE to the AEW star. Kick out! Kris with a Discus lariat! Kick out! Sterling pulls Bryce away from a 450! Kris punts Bryce and goes after Sterling. Mark escapes through the ropes, leaving Kris to get caught in a black hole slam! She kicks out again! Bryce eats an enziguri! Sterling tries to interfere but Stat hits him with a F5! He left a tool in the ring! Bryce grabs it and nails Statlander! This looks like it….Kris grabs a crucifix pin and snags the three from certain defeat! Bryce is furious and storms back out the fire door from
Whence he came! Fire start to this night.
We look to be firing up for match two but Big Bacon Brad Hollister storms the ring. He’s clearly still hurting from last week when he dropped the Wrestling Open title to Fancy Ryan Clancy. But he’s BIG MAD that Clancy is defending the title tonight. He threatens to pull the fire alarm on Clancy’s match. he threatens to call in a bomb threat. He wants in the main event match….instead…SLADE IS HERE. Brad wants NONE of this. Does SLADE want problems with big business? Yes he does!
Match 2: Big Bacon Brad Hollister vs SLADE
IS THIS A MATCH??? The bell didn’t ring but Ref Bill is here and doing ref stuff. SLADE bounces Brad off the ring steps. He grabs a chair, Brad uses the ref trying to get the chair as a chance to blindside the murder man. Running hip attack! SLADE keeps taking hard shots but he keeps moving. Huge German! He tries a headlock but SLADE bites free! Huge exploders! Bacon with a slam reversal of a rear choke! Huuuuge popup bacon bomb! SLADE immediately grabs the throat, stands right up and hits a chokeslam for three! Let’s gooooo!
Match 2: GAL vs Ichiban (w/ Tyree Taylor)
The real life action figure doesn’t think much of Ichiban…so it’s only natural that Ichi flies around and sends him running for the floor. Ichi with ten punches in the crowd but Gal catches him coming back in. Huge tosses around the ring, Ichiban is slowed right down with these shots. Huge fallaway slam and a kip up. This is getting one sided. Ichi rallying, a few good slaps, a rollup, Gal sent to the floor and a huge somersault into the crowd! Ichi with a leg lariat! Gal kicks out! Gal escapes the Ichi Bankai but eats a bulldog! Gal resorts to ripping at the mask of Ichiban, allowing him to hit a blue Thunder bomb for the three. What GALL.
What the f***??? SIDNEY BAKABELLA STORMS INTO THE RING WEARING A SINGLET! He wants a fight! He wants to beat the s*** out of his ex-gf! He calls out Little Mean Kathleen. LMK comes through the curtain and is immediately blindsided by Channing Thomas and DJ Powers. Fresh Air is out here and they even the odds. Bakabella is left alone! He’s about to get his due but Channing makes the save! LMK wants the match but it’s a 6-person tag!
Match 3: Sidney Bakabella, Channing Thomas & DJ Powers vs LMK & Fresh Air
What a lovely surprise match this is. DJ Powers is immediately beaten to a pulp by the IWTV tag champs. Junior with a cheek clap on Channing before he eats a vertical face buster. Bakabella runs interference and the family gets their hands on Junior Benito. Bakabella still has been smart enough to NOT enter the match. DJ gets a shot in on LMK and Sidney LOVES it. Macrae Martin with the tag in and hits DJ so hard he throws himself over the ropes. Sidney breaks up the pin and he is immediately caught. A brief scuffle…Sidney spikes Kathleen with a a X Factor. Kick out! Channing goes for a piledriver but Junior makes the save! LMK with a bulldog! Sidney tries to save DJ again and it goes poorly. He gets his cheeks clapped!!! Bakabella forced to 69 DJ as LMK runs those stomps on them. A LMK bulldog to Bakabella ends the contest by pinfall and the family is sent running!
Match 4: Fancy Ryan Clancy(c) vs Hurricane John Walters (for the Wrestling Open Championship)
This is Clancy’s first defense of his newly won championship. This is gonna be some test, considering the hell he went through less than a week ago. Walters is a 25 year vet but I think some of the crowd needs to know why he is in this spot tonight. This promises to be very aggressive and very technical. They go hold for hold in the opening moments. If Clancy is hurting, he’s not showing it right now. Walters is clearly impressed but he’s not letting up, trying to wrap up Clancy over and over. Clancy with an escape that sends Walters flying to the floor. Clancy holds the ropes. This is the definition of sportsmanship right now. Fancy with a long range monkey flip! Walters sent to the floor again and suddenly, sportsmanship is out the door. He pounds on Clancy, who was trying to hold the ropes for him again. Walters with some hard whips and snap suplexes. Clancy tries for the dropkick but Walters has it scouted. He goes from a crab to a full on Muta lock! Clancy won’t tap and escapes to the rope! Clancy is circling and throwing hands! Walters working the back and almost jackknifes Clancy with his legs for the win. Walters hitting the ropes but Clancy pops up and hits the dropkick for the KO pin!
Match 5: Zayda Steel vs Dustin Waller (w/ Kylon King)
Dustin wants to be respectful but Zayda slaps his handshake away. He slaps Flash repeatedly. He goes for the handspring but she baseball slides him in the chest! This is more like a mugging and Zayda refuses to take his wallet. Dustin finally lands a wicked superkick and running shooting star! She tries for an Unprettier! She almost gets a backslide! Destroyer sends flash flying to the floor! Suicide dive ddt! She tries to come off the top but Flash tosses her from her perch! Handspring cutter spikes her hard and she eats the three! Surprisingly awesome match here!
Match 6: Big Trouble Ben Bishop vs CPA
Bishop is a huge mf’er. I hope he did his taxes! Bishop gets the mic. He thinks this is a silly contest and offers CPA a finger poke of doom so they can both go home injury free. CPA may be outgunned here but he refuses to be fingered. He slaps Bishop and proceeds to get pummeled. CPA escapes and thinks he’s hitting a 1099. No. He gets slammed. Bishop starts taking the taxman apart. CPA with a couple of key dodges…he gets Ben up in a fireman’s carry. That is impressive…until he collapses and Ben lands on his back. Hard whips and body tackles. CPA is barely moving…but he does still have several shirts on. This should end but CPA keeps kicking out and grabbing the ropes. Ben is very annoying that he has to DO WORK. Bishop keeps trying to end things but CPA keeps escaping. He reverses a chokeslam into a codebreaker!!!! He falls victim to the ol clip on tie trick! Flying boot drops Ben! Kick out! CPA trying to crunch numbers again but Ben just bear hugs him. CPA off the top but he runs into a finger poke of death! CPA kicks out at one! Shirt rip! 1099! He still can’t crunch those numbers! Ben with a big boot for two! Ben tries a body splash but posts himself! CPA crunches his numbers! CPA just pinned Ben bishop!!!!
Match 7: Shot Through the Heart (TJ Crawford & Love Doug) vs The Shooter Boys (Anthony Vecchio & Aaron Ortiz)
This was supposed to be vs Gabby Forza & Bulk Bronson but Bulk got hurt badly this week. Hope he recovers well but also, props to Create a Pro’s Shooter Boys for stepping up to this plate. Hard fought work rate match between both teams. SttH with a headkick powerbomb combo takes the W! (Sorry y’all, I had to step away to deal with something so I saw a lot of this match in peripheral)
Match 8: Nick Gage vs Drew Gulak
It’s not real until Gage comes through the curtain and here he is! The criwd popping hard for Nick F***ing Gage. But it’s Gulak who seems more angry tonight. Nick just pops Drew right at the intro and fight into the crowd! Right to the bar! Off the concessions! Into the front row of chairs! Off the stairs! Gulak bleeding from the eye! Gage grabbing chairs! He whips Gulak into a large tye dyed fan with a chair! Suplex into a chair! Nick isn’t going for pins! He’s here for carnage! Gulak saves himself going into the chair again and unloads on the god of this s***. Nick with a chokebreaker! Short ddt! It’s pizza time! Nick Gage cuts Gulak up around the ring until the ref stops the bout and awards Gulak the win via DQ! Wtf?!?
Gulak grabs a mic. He calls Gage a convict. He says he’s the victor because Gage was too stupid to not use the pizza cutter. Gulak says if Gage wants a death match…he’s got it…on March 1st. Gage accepts! “I’m gonna f***ing kill him”. This was a surprise to see. I really didn’t expect a DQ here and clearly the crowd was confused too.
Match 9: Anthony Greene vs B3CCA
AG says they have a very personal issue. B3CCA has put out all this music and she HASN’T invited him to collab??? AG wants an audition. He starts singing Heaven is a Place on Earth and then blasts her with a lariat. Becca comes right at him! This is the agressive Becca of a few years ago that main evented this very show. Handstand up and over on AG…roll down into a double stomp! Becca tries to come off the ropes but he pushes her into a version of the Hamrick bump. AG is having his way, dropping bombs and landing suplexes. Becca with a do si do spot that gets Ref Gina out of the way and distracts AG enough to eat a superkick. Slingshot codebreaker! Handstand Rana rips Greene off the top! Huge German! Ag kicks out! He tries a side Russian but Becca traps his head in a crucifix choke! Green gets to the ropes but he’s breathing heavy. Big boot off the apron! Cannonball to the floor! Back to the top but AG catches her and hits a backbreaker into the top buckle! Chriiist! Becca with a superkick! She hits a TKO! Ag kicks out! She goes up too but Greene hits the ropes and drops her down. Gutwrench facebuster! Powerbomb! Kick out! Becca wraps up that crucifix choke again! He’s out! She matrix dodges, superkick into the breast bone! Tombstone! Becca kicks out!!!! Greene to the top…Becca beats him there! Super bulldog for the win! The pop star did it!!! Huge show of appreciation for Becca’s return to form. This owned.
Match 10: Evil Gay Aaron Rourke vs Timothy Thatcher (WWE ID SHOWCASE MATCH)
Murderface Timmy is in the house for this officially branded showcase match! I’m stoked for this match. This is a VERY pro Rourke crowd. Thatcher comes right in and Rourke takes it right to him! Rourke is holding his own but Thatcher is a man who thrives on the pain of his opponent…and he is wrapping Aaron in all sorts of painful positions. Rourke gets out and free and managed to stomp the arm on his way out…and Thatcher grabs the limb and twists it hard. Rourke off the top with a dropkick. Thatcher looks shocked that he hit the mat. Rourke suplexes Thatcher out of the ring! He’s clearly dazed as he falls off the apron trying to get back into the fight. Rourke uses the opportunity, tosses Tim back in and starts working over the legs. Thatcher can barely stand as he fights Rourke. He grabs the hand and rips at the fingers as his knee keeps going out on him. Hard shots to the hands, wrists and elbows. Hard elbows against the ropes to the ribs. Aaron is starting to crumble. Thatcher with a kimura but Rourke bites the leg to free himself! Thatcher slowly tying up the legs and works to the choke. Aaron screaming as he makes it to the ropes! Rourke firing back with hard chops but Thatcher grabs a takedown and goes right for the arms again. Will Evil Gay give up? “NEVER!” The knee coming back to haunt Tim. Rourke firing punches but every shot hurts. Great release German drops Thatcher on his head! Fireman’s carry neckbreaker for two! Thatcher dodges the split legged moonsault! He sinks in a cross armbreaker! Head and arm triangle! Rourke is trying…he flips Thatcher into a Boston crab! Thatcher escapes but Rourke makes him eat a roundhouse! Cartwheel leg crank! Rourke fights and gets on a deep figure forming the center of the ring! Rourke tries for the figure eight but the wrist gives out! Thatcher to the ropes! Both guys are exhausted, trying to end things but watching their bodies give out. Thatcher with a seatbelt style rollup gets the three! Fantastic match but I think the end stunned some people. Thatcher is VERY under appreciated.
Beyond owner DC is in the ring to reiterate that tonight is the final Beyond show at the White Eagle. In two days is the Wrestling Open 3rd anniversary. Wrestling Open wraps up their stay here in a few weeks before we move across Kelly Square to Electric Haze! We may be changing home venues but Beyond has big plans for 2025!
Main Event: Krule(c) vs Marcus Mathers (Fans Bring the Weapons Match for the IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship)
The ring is loaded with all sorts of f***ery. We’re breaking tradition and starting the main before the new year. Can Mathers dethrone the Forever Champ? The Atrocity? The Monster who has been on a reign of terror for almost two years. This match follows a typical format, both participants beat the hell out of each other with a variety of creative weapons. I’ll try to keep up! We know what the stakes are. Krule stomps right over to stare down the young prodigy. Marcus with a superkick and throws a chair but Krule catches and sabu’s him right back. He grinds a deer antler into Marcus’ head…and we have blood after about 60 seconds of match. Krule blasts him with a pine cone bat! He has a form sword…with toothpicks stuck through it! He attacks Mathers with a baby doll covered in thumbtacks. Krule is methodically torturing this kid. Marcus trying to fire back up but Krule just boots him over. We get our first table set up outside the ring! He grabs a chain and chokes Marcus. Face first into the ring stairs. Blasted with a prosthetic leg covered in tacks! Marcus is a mess. Like takes him to the apron, he wants the choke slam . Marcus kicks free! We’re filling up with doors, Krule to the top????m Marcus blasts him with a thumbtack skateboard!! Suuuuperplex! Marcus grabs an IWTV briefcase! It’s his old contract case from last year! He boots it into the monster! He puts a chair on Krule’s head and Sabu’s him with another one! Kick out! Krule’s getting stabbed with gussets. As he bleeds more and more, he stands up to Marcus. Mathers pounds a gusset into his head. Krule rips it out with a gross wet sound. That’s the best gusset spot I’ve seen in a LONG time. Marcus with cutters off the corners! Krule is staggered but not dead. Kick out! Marcus is throwing everything he can and screaming at Krule to stay down. Krule stands up and tosses him head first through a door! Marcus throwing chops and superkicks. Huge firecracker bat shot! Krule wakes up and chokeslams Marcus through a table. He hits a falcon arrow through the remains! One. two. MARCUS KICKS OUT! He escapes Scorched earth! Head kicks repeatedly to the monster! He tries the cutter again…he falls into Scorched Earth! Marcus is out at two!!!! Krule is frustrated and throws Ref Gina through a door! He drags her up…the other refs try to save her but he drops them. Gina is about to be murdered before DC comes to ringside and tells him enough! Krule down to stage a hole through the boss but Marcus flies out of the ring at him! Brainbuster!!!! Krule eats a 450 in the center of the ring and Marcus Mathers gets the three!
WE HAVE A NEW IWTV INDEPENDENT WRESTLING CHAMPION!!! MARCUS MATHERS FINALLY ENDED THE REGIN OF KRULE AT THE STROKE OF MIDNIGHT!
Krule is down and out in the center of the ring, failing to monster movie recover as we are accustomed to. Krule finally sits up, stumbles and finds his way to the back as Marcus celebrates the victory with all of us!
