The family of Rick Harris, who performed for many years as Black Bart in a number of promotions, including the WWF, World Class Championship Wrestling, The NWA and The UWF announced that he has entered hospice care after his decision to discontinue chemotherapy in his battle against liver cancer, feeling that the treatment was not helping his quality of life.
