WWE's Chief Content Officer, Paul "Triple H" Levesque appeared on the Sports Illustrated podcast this weekend, promoting WWE's move to Netflix for Monday Night Raw.
When the topic of the length of Raw's episodes came up, Paul Levesque commented, "It will be flexible. It will be flexible in I don't necessarily know the time constraints of network television or cable television apply. It's a slightly different platform," Levesque said. "Much like many episodic shows, they have the ability to do whatever the show needs to have down. If this episode needs to be an hour, great, it's an hour. If the next episode needs to be 42 minutes, it's 42 minutes. It's what makes for the best product."
This confirms what PWInsiderElite.com reported back in October 2024:
"The expectation in recent days, based on multiple WWE sources, is that Raw will return to "closer to" three hours when it moves to Netflix. One source believes it will revert back to three hours but others have stressed that they will be more flexible in that the length will be determined by what is needed for that specific week. The first Raw on Netflix will be in the Los Angeles area so that the company can accommodate as many Netflix execs as possible."
Raw premieres tomorrow on Netflix at 8 PM Eastern worldwide, the biggest live footprint in company history.
