Sports Business Journal is reporting that with the move to Netflix, international Raw viewers will receive no advertisements during commercial breaks. Last week in certain markets, during commercial breaks internationally, Vic Joseph did interviews with WWE talents.
Domestically, there will be some advertisements
WWE Producer Brian Fadem told SBJ, “While you might go to commercials if you’re in Texas, if you’re in Italy you’re going to see us continue content. You’re going to see the continuation of a match. You’re going to see exclusive interviews with our talent. You might see an exclusive package that will only be viewed on that international level.”.
So, it may be similar to what ad-free subscribers of Peacock get during live WWE broasdcasts - additional packages during what would be commercial breaks for everyone else.
We are told you can expect lots of product placements and similar pushes on the programming.
SBJ says there may be as many as 15 commercial breaks tonight for the episode, which is expected to hit the three hour mark, if not exceed it.
