It is Saturday and AEW Collision is live at the Akins Ford Arena Athens, GA. Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.
We get the promos for the main events same as last week.
Cope vs Big Bill
Chris Jericho joins commentary for this match.
They lock up and Cope is able to start pushing Bill back, but Bill shoves him into the corner and Cope rolls to the floor. Bill follows him and Cope gets a drop toe hold into the steel steps. They brawl around then ring with Cope slamming Bill’s head into the commentary desk repeatedly. When Bill gets on the apron after a talk from Jericho, they brawl through the ropes with Bill getting a running kick on Cope’s head.
Bill drops Cope on the commentary table. He then slams Cope’s head into the ring apron and then the ring steps. Bill then drops Cope on the steel steps. Bill lays in chops as Cope is against the barricade. Cope crawls to get in the ring and Bill lays in chops as Cope is on the apron, and then tops him on the barricade as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Bill has a rear chinlock in the ring, but Cope gets to his feet and starts throwing lariats. Cope kicks his legs out from under him and lays in kicks followed by a lariat to the back for two. Cope runs the ropes into a sidewalk slam from Bill. Jericho gets on the apron and argues with the ref. Bill gets a scoop, but Cope escapes and we see the turnbuckle pad was taken off by Bill.
They fight to the top turnbuckle. Cope slams Bill’s head on the exposed turnbuckle and then Cope carries him to the middle of the ring for a power slam and a two count. Bill dodges a spear and Cope goes into the exposed turnbuckle, Bill covers for two. Bill goes for a chokeslam, but Cope reverses it into an impaler, followed by a spear for two, but the crowd was sure it was three.
Bill goes for another chokeslam and Cope moves the ref away as he escapes. Cope hits a low blow, followed by a spear, followed by hammer and anvil elbow and then a rear naked choke and Bill goes out.
Winner: Cope
Jericho and Bryan Keith attack immediately as the bell rings. FTR runs front he back to attack them and security hits the ring to pull them apart.
We get a video recap of Kenny Omega’s return on Dynamite.
We then get a pre-tape promo from Adam Page who says he protected his family from the issues in wrestling, but in one night, that was destroyed. It nearly destroyed his family and he was ashamed to be in wrestling. He knew he had to make a decision, he could remain the husk of a man he was or do something about it. So he destroyed Swerve Strickland’s championship and the last chance he had to have a home and a family.
He says he understands what Christopher Daniels was trying to say to him and he humored him for too long. He listened to Daniels for two long and Daniels crossed the line by putting his hands on him and he will pay the price next week on Collision in a Texas Death Match. He has made the decision on who he will be and he will destroy anyone in his way rather than to be who he was last year.
Pac vs Komander
Pac forces them into the ropes and then tries for a snap mare, but Komander lands on his feet. They lock up again and this time Pac gets a side headlock takeover. They run the ropes and Pac gets a shoulder tackle. They run the ropes again and both try for takedowns until Pac is sent to the floor. Komander slowly comes over the top into a tejaris on Pac. Komander then runs the ropes into a dive on Pac.
Pac is rolled into the ring and Komander gets a cross body from the top rope for two. Pac then slams Komander’s head into the second turnbuckle. Pac then works over Komander on the mat. He tosses Komander to the floor and then tosses him into the barricade. Pac threatens Alex Abrahantes before returning to the ring. Pac dodges a drop-kick from Komander and kicks him in the face for two.
Pac goes to the floor and grabs Alex, but Komander does a moonsault flip from the top rope onto him. They return to the ring and run the ropes with Komnder gets a high cutter and then a DDT for two. Komander goes to the top and Pac takes his legs out from under him. Pac then goes to the top and Komander rolls out of range.
Pac runs into a big boot and Komander follows with a second before going to the top for a leaping poisonrana. Komander goes to the top and tries a 450, but Pac gets his knee up and locks Komander into the brutalizer and Komander has to tap out.
Winner: Pac
Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta come to the ring, but they are attacked by the Outrunners.
Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta vs The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd)
Since they have a match, let’s just start it now.
They brawl to the floor and the bell rings. Turbo and Claudio fight on the floor and Truth gets a back elbow on Yuta and then slams Yuta in the corner to be stomped down. Yuta reverses and lays in chops. Truth does the same and Turbo is tagged in. They work over Yuta with quick tags.
Claudio is able to get a clothesline from the apron while the ref is distracted and now Turbo is the babyface in peril as they work him over with quick tags. Turbo is able to get a Thesz press and then tags in Truth and they hit Claudio with a two man back suplex. Yuta gets in the ring and both Yuta and Claudio are dumped to the floor as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Truth has been the babyface in peril again. Claudio is bumped to the floor and Truth ALMOST gets the hot tag, stopped by Claudio. Truth gets a leaping tag after a back body drop, and Turbo is tagged in and runs wild with body slams. They hit the double bionic elbow on Yuta, but before they can follow up, Claudio pulls Truth out of the ring.
Turbo gets a sunset flip on Yuta for two. Then a drop-down for two on Yuta and follows with more near falls. Yuta gets a drop-kick and tries to lift Turbo, but Turbo gets a suplex for two, broken up by Claudio. Claudio then gets the giant swing on Turbo with the kick by Yuta for two, with Truth breaking it up. Yuta and Truth go to the floor. Turbo and Claudio are on top and Turbo knocks Claudio down to the mat. Yuta sweeps Turbo’s leg and Claudio gets a gut wrench superplex on Turbo. Claudio then rocket launches Yuta onto Turbo for the pin and the win.
Winners: Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta
We get a pre-taped promo from Powerhouse Hobbs and says that he is taking the initiative Jon Moxley has been asking for and Mox backed away from him. This Wednesday there’s nothing Mox can do to him.
Mariah May (AEW Women’s Champion) vs Harley Cameron
The title is not on the line, Harley got HUGE cheers, and Nigel introduces Mariah with a bunch of comparisons to old movie stars.
May stays on the top turnbuckle and makes Harley wait for her. Harley gets a series of quick rollups for two. May gets a headbutt that stops Harley. May stomps Harley down in the corner. Harley gets her feet up and kicks May back and then hits a series of knee lifts and a Russian leg sweep for two. Harley gets a series of elbow strikes from behind and then and insigiri for two.
May is able to get a big drop-kick for two as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, May is dominating Harley and puts her on the top turnbuckle. She hits a top rope tejaris for two. They charge at each other and take each other down. Harley hits a series of forearms, a back elbow, and then a neckbreaker. Harley gets a pump handle slam for two. May gets a knee and Harley gets a quick rollup for two. May gets a knee and follows with the Mayday for the pin and the win.
Winner: Mariah May
We get a pre-tape promo from Christopher Daniels who says he was trying to be a friend to Adam Page and he reached out when Page was at his worst. He said when Page called him an old man and asked what he’d done, he went through his bona fides and says this year, he’s going to beat Adam Page.
Brody King w/Julia Hart vs the Already in the ring Trevor Blackwell
Trevor does get out of the ring after taking a beating, and when he gets to Julia, she wags a finger at him, allowing Brody to drop him with a quick strike and then finishing it in ring with a Gonzo Bomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Brody King
In the back, Lexi Nair is with Brody and Julia, and he says it’s a confusing time for the House of Black. Cope shows and says that they have been through a lot and he respects him and Buddy Matthews. He tells Brody it’s time for him to take the reins and run.
Daniel Garcia (TNT Champion) vs Katsuyori Shibata
Matt Menard joins commentary and we are told that Garcia had travel woes before getting to the show.
They lock up collar and elbow and Shibata forces them to the ropes. Shibata lays in a chop and calls for Garcia to do the same. They trade chops with Garcia taking the worst of it. Garcia grabs a side headlock and then runs the ropes. Shibata doesn’t drop from the shoulder tackle and they go back to chops.
Shibata walks through Garcia’s chops. He then starts chopping Garcia in the corner and follows with a running shotgun drop-kick in the corner. Shibata gets a butterfly suplex for two. Shibata grabs a leg lock as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Garcia gets a lariat that finally drops Shibata. Garcia gets ten in the corner. Garcia hits a swinging neckbreaker for two. Garcia goes for a sharpshooter, but Shibata rolls him up for two. Garcia does the same to Shibata. Garcia and Shibata trade running big boots. Shibata gets a back suplex and Garcia does the same. Shibata gets a back trip takedown but can’t follow up.
The ref gets to 8 before both men sit up. They go head-to-head as they get to their feet and throw chaps again. Shibata gets an abdominal stretch and Garcia gets to the ropes for a break. Garcia gets a dragon screw leg whip into an ankle lock and Shibata escapes. Garcia gets the Dragon Tamer and Shibata reverses it into an Achilles lock. Shibata then turns it into a figure four. Garcia gets to the bottom rope for a break.
Shibata gets a snap mare with a kick to the back. Garcia goes for a Dragon Screw, but Shibata reverses it for two. Garcia reverses Shibata’s ripcord lariat into a jack knife for the pin and the win.

Dax Harwood vs Chris Jericho
No one is allowed at ringside because of the brawl at the start of the show.
They lock up and break with Jericho saying Dax tried to poke him in the eye. They lock up again and go to the floor and lock up again and go around the ringside area. They break after going halfway around the ring and then trade chops in the corners. Dax then gets a Dragon Screw leg whip and Dax pulls his legs around the ringpost and slams his leg into the post. Jericho pulls his legs back, slamming Dax into the post.
The fight then spills into the crowd for a few chops and then back to the ringside area as they fight over the barricade and into the ring. Dax gets a sheer drop brainbuster for two. Dax goes to the top and Jericho meets him there. They fight on the top and Jericho gets a hurricanrana as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Dax lays in blows and Jericho comes off the ropes with a shoulder tackle. Jericho goes to the top for a cross body for two. Dax gets a series of German suplexes, but Jericho is able to block the third, rolls through and gets a catapult sending Dax into the turnbuckles. Jericho gets a Lionsault for two.
Jericho charges into the corner and Dax lifts him up and over. Dax gets a Dragon Screw leg whip in the ropes and when he tries for a sharpshooter, Jericho kicks him off into the ringpost from the inside and rolls him up for two. Jericho goes to the top and Dax meets him there. Jericho loses his footing, but Dax is able to help him up and then hits a superplex. They struggle to get up and come up throwing hands.
Jericho grabs a choke and after Dax breaks the hold they hit chops and both go down. Jericho rolls to the floor and grabs his Ring of Honor championship belt. Dax stops him and tries for a sharpshooter, but Jericho kicks him back to the steel steps and then hits a codebreaker on Dax.
They are on the floor until the 9 count. Jericho goes for the walls and Dax counters it and gets the sharpshooter. Jericho is on one shoulder and is able to get to the ropes for a break. The ref and Dax argue as Jericho grabs the belt. He misses with the belt and Dax gets a side suplex and goes to the top. Jericho pokes the ref in the eye and Dax dives onto Jericho.
Jericho nails Dax with the belt, the ref recovers. And Jericho crawls to the cover for two. Jericho then hits the Judas Effect for the pin and the win.
Winner: Chris Jericho
This brings out Big Bill and Bryan Keith and lay in stomps on Dax. Cash Wheeler and Cope hit the ring and they are all brawling again. The Death Riders join in, followed by the Outrunners. Everyone is brawling around the ring and Cope hits Pac with a spear.
It’s at this point Jon Moxley shows and attacks Cope from behind. A chair is slid into the ring by Marina Shafir. They start to set for a con-chair-to, but we get Powerhouse Hobbs coming to the ring for the save. Hobbs hits Claudio with a spinebuster. Mox hits Hobbs with a chair and…slowly he turns, step by step, inch by inch… Mox bails from the ring and Shafir gets between him and Mox. Yuta, of course, runs at Hobbs and gets slammed through the announce table and we are desperately out of time!
