There's been rumors WWE would downplay Hulk Hogan and use someone else for their Real American Beer after the Los Angeles incident. Who do you think it should be?
IF that is correct, there's a few talents who are so closely aligned with WWE Patriotism in the past, so I would use one of them. If it was up to me, Hacksaw Duggan is the best choice. I can't think of anyone who doesn't like Duggan and his character has always been a blue-collar All American tough guy. Who better to use to push beer? Who doesn't love Hacksaw Duggan? If not, I could argue Sgt. Slaughter could be a good choice as well. Hell, one could make an argument for Jack Swagger to return for that role, given his "We The People" catchphrase. Hell, they could use the Dudley Boyz if they wanted. Anyone!
Have you ever tried the beer?
No, I don't believe it's sold in NYC and it's not something I'm seeking to try, but thanks.
Will WBD release viewing numbers for Dynamite and Collision? Do you think the move to simulcasting will beef up AEW's viewership?
I don't know that Max really releases their streaming numbers, so I can't say they will. If the shows are available worldwide to all MAX viewers, it can only help the viewership.
Do you think we'll see a Edge & Christian reunion in AEW?
I would be shocked if we didn't see them do a reunion run at some point. I could make the argument that the team as babyfaces could draw some money for the promotion, as long as there's a strong reason to turn Christian. I think they'd do fine as heels but AEW has more than enough heels currently.
Any update on Rich Swann?
He is working on his sobriety and has shaved his head to give himself a new look. There is no word if/when he will return to TNA as of this writing. He's looked very good in the ring in the matches I've seen and I'm personally hoping for the best for him.
Any chance there will be a documentary on Terry Funk's life? I feel like it is deserved.
It is certainly deserved but I haven't heard of any new projects. There is of course Beyond the Mat as well as the Funk family documentary on Highspots.TV. Perhaps WWE can do one through A&E Biography down the line. If there is anyone who deserves such a doc made, it's Terry, who I feel is the greatest of all time.
