NWA POWERRR RECAP FOR 2/4/25
- A vide package airs highlighting the feud between NWA World Women’s Champion Kenzie Paige and Hollyhood Haley J.
- Joe Galli and Danny Dealz preview today’s show.
Size Matters (Sam Stackhouse & Eric Smalls) vs. The Colons (Primo & Epico)
The match begins with Primo shoving Smalls across the ring a few times, Stackhouse tags in and Epico refuses to make the tag. Stackhouse quickly drops Primo with a shoulder tackle before landing an avalanche, Smalls tags in and he nails Primo with a bronco buster. Epico tags in and Smalls drops him with a basement drop kick followed by a bulldog, Small then hits Epico with a leg drop before Primo interferes to slam him. Epico stomps away on Smalls before sending him into the corner, Epico chokes Smalls on the middle rope before Primo tags in and he lands a seated senton for a near fall. Primo lands strikes on a downed Smalls before raking his eyes, Epico tags in and he double teams Smalls alongside Primo. Epico starts stomping away on the arms of Smalls, Epico then hits Smalls with a delayed vertical suplex for a near fall. Smalls fights back and he nails Epico with a jaw breaker followed by an enziguri, Stackhouse tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team.
Stackhouse traps The Colons in the corner before landing an avalanche on Epico followed by a spin kick on Primo, Stackhouse goes to the middle rope and he misses a moonsault attempt. Smalls tags in and Epico instantly drops him, The Colons then hit Smalls with a power bomb backstabber for a three count.
Winners: The Colons (Primo & Epico)
- Kyle Davis interviews Mims, who says he will be Mr. Grim tonight to retain his NWA national Heavyweight Championship and get paid tonight.
NWA National Heavyweight Championship
Mims (c) vs. Mr. Grim
The match begins with Mims cracking Grim with a bunch of strikes, Grim recovers and he nails Mims with a drop kick. Mims recovers and he drops Grim after landing a knee to the midsection, Mims lands a few headbutts on Grim and Grim recovers to drop him neck first on the top rope. Grim looks for a German suplex and Mims defends by backing him into the corner, Mims hits Grim with elbow strikes and shoulder thrusts. Mims gets Grim out of the corner after landing a power slam for a near fall, Mims keeps Grim grounded by nailing him with strikes. Grim recovers and he fights back until Mims drops him with a clothesline, Mims looks for a power bomb and Grim counters with a roll up for a near fall. Mims recovers and he nails Grim with a belly to belly suplex for a near fall, Mims traps Grim in the corner while landing headbutts. Mims sends Grim into another corner before landing multiple avalanches, Mims then drops Grim with a hard Irish whip into the corner.
Mims stands Grim up before applying the bear hug to him, Grim gets free after dropping Mims with an arm drag. Grim then hits Mims with a series of shoulder tackles, Mims misses a charge in the corner and Grim hits him with an avalanche. Grim follows up with a springboard blockbuster on Mims for a near fall, Grim then hits Mims with a release German suplex. Grim goes to the top rope and he misses a 450 splash attempt, Mims then hits Grim with a heart punch followed by the Big Strong Slam for a three count.
Winner: Mims, still your NWA National Heavyweight Champion
- Kyle Davis interviews NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions The It Girls, Ella Envy says they will defeat Kylie Paige and her mystery partner next week. Ms. Starr says Kylie Paige can choose whomever she wants, but they will keep the titles.
- Kyle Davis interviews Haley J before her title match, J says that she will defeat Kenzie Paige to win the NWA World Women’s Championship before heading to the NWA’s territories to take all their women’s championships.
NWA World Women’s Championship
Kenzie Paige (c) vs. Haley J
The match begins with a shoving contest between Paige and J, Paige then cracks J with a bunch of strikes. Paige follows up by dropping J with a clothesline, J grabs Paige and she sends her into the middle rope before landing a leg drop. J follows up by knocking Paige out of the ring after landing a rope assisted neck breaker, Paige returns to the ring and J stomps away on her before landing some strikes. J then hits a dazed Paige with a snap suplex, J keeps Paige grounded while holding her in a front headlock. Paige gets free and J quickly drops her before choking her, J traps Paige in the ropes while landing strikes. Paige fights back and she cracks J with some strikes of her own, J gets Paige back in the corner before landing a running back elbow strike followed by a side kick for a near fall. J gets angry and she chokes a downed Paige for a short time, Paige shocks J with a small package before eating a boot to the face. J then nails a downed Paige with a double knee strike followed by a knee strike for a near fall, Paige fights back and she cracks J with strikes.
J quickly recovers and she trades super kicks with Paige until they both go down, Paige and J have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. J ends the exchange by dropping Paige with a STO for a near fall, J mounts a downed Paige while landing more strikes. J goes to the top rope and Paige kicks her in the head, Paige climbs the ropes and she trades strikes with J. Paige goes for a superplex and J defends before getting off the ropes, J then hits Paige with a power bomb followed by a curb stomp for a near fall. J traps Paige in the corner while stomping away on her, J goes for her loaded sock and the ref takes it from her. Paige then hits a distracted J with a cutter for a three count.
Winner: Kenzie Paige, still your NWA World Women’s Champion
