During a keynote speech on Monday, Jason Sarlanis, President of TNT, TBS, TruTV, ID & HLN, Linear and Streaming at WBD quietly revealed that Wipeout was cancelled, noting the series cost too much to fit with their new programming strategy.
John Cena was one of the hosts of the series, which originally aired on ABC. The cable revival debuted in 2001.
