Any update on ROH getting a TV deal?

Nothing yet.  I haven't heard any new rumblings at all about it.

How great was the presentation of the Rumble with the graphic tracking the entrants and who was in and how many were left? Felt like a Super Bowl level event, and didn't take away from the camera work. And, nice touch highlighting the home country (and height/weight for the men).

I think if you were a sports person, that was something you loved.  I found it distracting beyond when they were in the "hard camera" shot, but that's just me.  I felt like it was a news channel and it kept making me take my eyes off of what was happening in the ring. I feel the same way about all the digital signs, aprons, ring posts, etc., so it's a me thing.

Did either of you ever think when you got into the business of wrestling journalism, you would end having to do as much going through legal briefs and the like as you've had to do? Not only that, but coverage of Wall Street and other major media rights stories? Can't imagine that you ever thought the product would get to the level it has.

I never expected in my life that I'd have to read and translate so much legal jargon about pro wrestling in my life, no.  I think the fact that in my previous job that I would be responsible for helping to write contracts for acting clients helped prepare me for making sure I could pay attention to the smaller details and then explain them via my writing the way I used to have to break them down for clients.  I think the most important thing when writing about the cases is to let the documents speak for themselves and to make sure not to insert opinion into them, because that could change the context of what is meant by one of the sides or even the court.

As far as the major media rights stories?  I think a lot of that is that Nick Khan and his team know how to get them out there, but I don't think I ever expected WWE to be as mainstream/Hollywood as it is now, but that's what Endeavor wants it to be.  In a lot of ways, they accomplished what Vince McMahon always coveted, except Vince doesn't get to enjoy any of the rewards beyond his financial wealth.

How is Kimber Lee going to wrestle with an ankle monitor on?

In the event you aren't being snarky, she's been retired for several years.

Did anyone ever find out why Lanny Poffo passed away a few years ago?  I enjoyed the few times you had him on for interviews.

It was never announced publicly that I am aware.  I was always given the impression by his friends it was a sudden thing that wasn't expected.  He was a great guest the 2-3 times we had him on.
