We take a look back at parts of last week's segment with Rock and Cody Rhodes.
Cody Rhodes walks the bowels of the building and he is escorted to his locker room, thanks to the man who is hoping to possess his soul tomorrow night.
Trish Stratus makes her way to the ring wearing a Maple Leafs jersey.
Trish starts off by asking if it is the jersey. She thanks Lillian for the introduction. Trish wonders what year it is. Lillian Garcia is introducing her, The Rock is involved in things, and she is wrestling. Trish says she couldn't think of a better place than her home town of Toronto. Trish says she loves the generational impact that wrestling has. She mentions a little girl and she mentions that her dad probably had a poster of her when he was the child's age. Trish says when she wrestles at the Rogers Centre, it will be the first time that her kids will see her wrestle live. To be back here celebrating 25 years and mix it up with the next generation of talent is a great thing. She says she is beyond excited to team with someone who is taking the women's division by storm.
Trish brings out Tiffany Stratton.
Tiffany comes out in her own Maple Leafs jersey.
Trish asks what time is it and and Tiffany and Trish say it is Trishy Time and Tiffy Time.
Trish says she wants to show some love with the custom made jerseys and they toss them into the crowd.
Tiffany says they are in sync. Trish says they have been training together and doing yoga together. Tiffany says that is why they are going to beat Nia and Candice tomorrow.
Representing the western part of the country, Chelsea Green comes out with her Mountie Piper Niven.
Green says she deserves the air time because she is the US Champion. She says much like Auston Matthews, she is the best thing to step in the arena tonight. Unlike Auston, she wins. Green says the minute that she left this dump, everything was better for her. She became US champion and she is honored to represent the people of America. She says the people are better in America.
Tiffany says she is from America and she says that Green does not represent her.
Green says she does not represent losers and it is not tacky time. She says she does not need to have her mom dress her.
Tiffany suggests a match tonight.
Green says she has plans.
Trish says it sounds like a great idea. She says maybe Nick Aldis should send out a referee if he likes the idea.
Green tells Nicholas not to do it and a referee comes to the ring.
Match Number One: Tiffany Stratton (with Trish Stratus) versus Chelsea Green (with 'Not a Mountie' Piper Niven) in a Non Title Match
The match is joined in progress and Tiffany counters with an inside package for a near fall. Green gets a near fall. Green with a rear chin lock. Tiffany with a snap mare and then Green grabs Tiffany by the hair. Tiffany with a belly-to-back suplex. Tiffany with forearms and clotheslines. Tiffany with a handspring back elbow into the corner. Tiffany with a spinebuster for a near fall. Tiffany sets for an Alabama Slam but Green counters with a sunset flip for a near afll. Green with a Rough Ryder for a near fall. Green sets for UnprettiHER but Tiffany escapes and Tiffany with a Finlay Slam and a double stomp. Piper pulls Green to the floor to avoid a Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Trish attacks Piper and Tiffany with a swanton onto Green and Piper.
Tiffany sends Green back into the ring but Nia and Candice attacks Trish. Tiffany pulls Nia to the floor and sends her over the announce table.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton (by disqualification)
After the match, Candice sends Trish face first into the mat. Candice chokes Trish and Nia goes to the turnbuckles for aNIAlator but Tiffany stops her. Nia with a head butt to Tiffany and she pulls Tiffany into the corner. Trish makes the save and Tiffany sends Trish into Nia and then Tiffany with a drop kick to Candice. Candice is pulled to the floor by NIa.
Joe and Wade talk about the US Title situation.
Nick Aldis says there has been a dispute over who is the Number One Contender. Nick mentions LA Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura. He says six men will determine the definitive number one contender. Braun Strowman will face Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight faces Santos Escobar, and Andrade faces Solo Sikoa.
Solo Sikoa walks in the back and he stops to talk to Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga.
Fatu says last week was an accident and Solo says 'sure' it was an accident. Fatu wants to know what is wrong with Solo. Solo says what happened last week made him realize that the family has to make a statement and it starts with him taking the US Title. That is why he wants Jacob to do it. He says he wants Jacob to represent the family and get the title. Solo says everything he is doing is to show how much he loves Jacob.
We see the spread that Cody has in his private locker room thanks to the Soul Taker.
R Truth is behind Cody and Cody asks why is he in his locker room.
Cody says this is what happens when you think about selling your soul to the Rock.
Truth mentions that Rock is the Soul Man. He tells Cody not to be shellfish.
Cody tells Truth to take what he wants.
Match Number Two: Andrade versus Jacob Fatu (playing the part of Solo Sikoa) in a Qualifying Match for the Number One Contender Match for the United States Title Triple Threat Match Later Tonight
Andrade with a side head lock. Andrade floats over in the corner and returns to the side head lock. Fatu with a shoulder tackle. Andrade avoids Fatu and Fatu goes into the corner. Andrade with a chop. Andrade with a Flair Flip and he connects with a forearm and hits a cross body. Fatu charges at Andrade and Andrade drops down. Fatu goes to the floor. Andrade with a pescado into a rana on the floor. Andrade goes up top and he hits a moonsault onto Fatu but Andrade holds his ribs. Andrade sends Fatu into the ring and he goes up top but Fatu crotches Andrade and Andrade rolls to the floor.
Fatu sends Andrade into the announce table. Fatu punches Andrade. Fatu works on the neck. Fatu with a hard Irish whip. Andrade with a jaw breaker but Fatu with a pop up Samoan drop. Fatu with head butts in the corner followed by an Irish whip and splash in the corner. Fatu runs into a boot in the corner and he runs into boots again. Andrade counters a pop up move into a poisonrana. Andrade with forearms and clotheslines but Fatu stays on his feet. Andrade with a flying forearm and he sets for the running double knee strike in the corner.
Fatu gets up and hits a back elbow. Fatu misses a running hip strike in the corner. Andrade with a kick. Andrade sets for the running double knee strike and he hits it. Andrade goes up top for the moonsault and Fatu rolls out of the way so Andrade goes for the Andradesault and he connects for a near fall. Andrade sets for The Promise but Fatu with a back drop and two running hips into the corner. Fatu with an Impaler DDT followed by a double jump moonsault and the three count.
Winner: Jacob Fatu (advances to Number One Contender Match)
Joe and Wade talk about the tag team division and the Street Profits.
We see Nick with Montez and Angelo earlier today.
Montez say were promised a tag title match and it continues until they get their match.
Legado shows up and Santos says they are waiting for the apology for accusing them.
Angelo says they aren't apologizing.
Santos says they will beat it out of them.
Nick tells Santos to save it for LA Knight. Nick says the Garzas will face the Street Profits and he tells them to get ready for their match.
