My apologies if this has been asked before, but who is the Booker/Executive Producer for WWE Evolve? There’s no credits at the end like the other WWE shows.
I believe it would be Jeremy Borash, Gabe Sapolsky and Shawn Michaels.
Why does AEW not have no-compete clauses for the talent that they release? Shouldn't they NOT want their former talent to immediately show up in WWE after they've been let go (or in Ricky Starks' case 24 hours later)?
They just don't have them. If they had a talent sitting off television for an extended period before they exit, that pretty much serves the same purpose as a 90 day release window when you think about it.
I just watched Smackdown in Toronto and noticed that when Chelsea Greene came out, she got the huge pop that Canadian heels always get in Canada. Except instead of playing to it, she immediately set about turning the crowd, and within a couple of seconds effortlessly did it and the crowd was enraged and screaming at her. Were you as impressed with that as I was? Turning a crowd -- especially a home crowd and especially a Canadian home crowd -- is a tough thing to do but Chelsea did it smoothly and easily. She's a special talent. Interested in your thoughts about how heels who are being cheered in "home" should act, I love that she was dedicated to her character.
I think Green is excellent at getting the most out of every single opportunity she is given by WWE, so I'm not surprised, but yes, I am impressed with her.
What's Scotty Riggs' role in AEW? Tony Schiavone mentioned on his podcast that he had started working there recently.
Riggs assists backstage on logistical things, including travel to and from venues.
Why do so many people ask you and Dave about Tamina?
I have no idea, but it is certainly a little weird!
Why is Natalya doing indies?
WWE asked her if she'd want to do them and rep the company and she's a massive team player.
