Spotlight Match: Chase Burnett vs Georgio Lawrence
Uncle Chase has returned to competition in Worcester! He’s a Beyond OG! I think the last time I saw him was Americanrana at Foxwoods? Anyways, he’s out here with a cane now and hobbling around the ring and Lawrence doesn’t know what to do with this…but he does know how to beat up the elderly. It’s a fun gimmick, as Burnett can clearly run the ropes when he needs to and nearly takes his head off with an enziguri! Lawrence with a drop toe hold into the turnbuckle and proceeds to beat on Burnett, taunting the crowd. Burnett with a trip and hits a slingshot double knees into the ring. He hits a rebound splash for two! He tries another but eats Georgio’s knee. A tornado head kick puts the lights out on Burnett.
Match 1: Paris Van Dale & Tiara James vs Spike Nishimura & Liviyah
Liviyah overpowers Tiara early and sends her running for a tag quickly. Spike getting a piece and Paris thinks she’s going to do better but gets her legs swept and face pummeled. A quick distract and Paris spikes Spike with a ddt, setting her up for the beatdown. Spike’s got a good contingency of support here tonight to rally her back up after a long beatdown. Liviyah in and she’s smashing everyone. Paris dumps Liviyah out and thinks they have the kill shot on Spike…Spike runs Paris into Tiara, gets the rollup on Van Dale and the win!
Match 2: GAL vs Love Doug
Doug catches Gal posing and almost wins by crucifix rollup immediately. Doug rolling quick but Gal catches him midair and just pancakes him forward. Big clubs and slams from the action figure. discus clothesline for two. The crowd chanting for Doug (even if he did come out to that Big Business music). Doug swinging hard and staggering Gal. Big boot and a Michanoku driver for two! Doug reverses a superplex into a sunset flip bomb! He tries the rebound but Gal boots him and lands a blue Thunder bomb for the three count!
Gal on the mic. He steps on Doug and asks where his friends are? No where. They’re “pale and ready to fail”.
Match 3: Brett Ryan Gosselin vs Eye Black Jack Pasquale
Is BRG getting his revenge in competition, after his cowardly attack two weeks ago? Will EBJ remain undefeated AND get pay back for those chair shots? BRG beating on Jack early and taunting everyone. Jack catches BRG in the corner and tosses him down. BRG sends the kid to the floor. He makes the count! Jack blocks a suplex and drops Brett on his face. Hard punches in the corner! EBJ almost loses control punching out Gosselin. BRG getting whipped and tossed everywhere. Powerslam for two! Brett rakes the eyes! Jack escapes an Unprettier. Brett slides out of the ring and opts for the count out, rather than try his luck any further. BRG acts like this is a win for him since Jack didn’t pin him.
Brando Lee is out here to address some of his ongoing issues with Bryce Donovan, especially after he went the distance in last weeks five minute challenge. He calls out Bryce but he gets MAX CASTER instead. Caster doesn’t really want to talk about Brando Lee stuff. He wants to talk about the 50k bounty on Ichiban. He wants Brando to cash in on it. He wants to ID Lee. He’ll give him that platinum push. Lee says he can’t turn down 50k…but he can turn down Caster. And in fact, He challenges Caster to fight here and now! Caster isn’t dressed to compete. Nope. He blindsides Lee and he’s got a match!
Match 4: Max Caster vs Brando Lee
Caster unloading on Lee through most of this. He’s looking to embarrass this kid. Lee trying to land shots consistently but Caster is just overwhelming him. Lee escapes a superplex…double stomp to caster! Chops and a DVD! Moonsault connects for two! Caster has the refs attention as Smart Mark Sterling runs out and pulls Lees leg. Caster with a boot to the rope and into the crotch and drops Lee for the win.
Match 5: DJ Powers vs Channing Thomas
Channing doesn’t bother taking his robe off before he starts his beating on Powers. Fight spills into the crowd quickly. I have no idea how they can move in there…ah, they went out the door. We don’t have screens anymore so who knows what’s going on. Channing comes back in the other door and chugs a beer. Crowd chanting for World Class. So weird. Powers chopping at Channing and slams him into the floorboards. Powers wants to come off the top….Channing intercepts but gets his eyes raked. Powers off the top! Kick out…Channing with the quick rollup and gets the three on Powers! DJ is furious and attacks Channing after the bell! Thomas fights back. Hard chops! He goes for the piledriver but Georgio Lawrence blindsides him?!? He mocks Channing as DJ recovers and stands tall…and then resumes the beatdown a little more.
Bear Bronson is out here. The crowd chanting hard for him. He is constantly surprised that he keeps showing up places where he thinks people won’t care…and they lift him up. This is similar to his promo from Sunday at Focus Pro and just as emotional. He’s STOKED to be fighting Aaron Rourke tonight. Rourke enters and they hug….Bear then blindsides Rourke with a clothesline!
Match 6: Bear Bronson vs Aaron Rourke
“What? Did you think I was just gonna give this to you???” Yells Bear as he sinks a chop into Aaron. Rourke lands back and shotguns Bear into the corner! Big boot! Bear with a black hole slam! Bear has turned emotions on the crowd, telling us that we are LUCKY he came out on a Thursday! That doesn’t stop this crowd from being split between these two. Rourke trying to elbow free but Bear puts a solid forearm into the lower back! Rourke goes for a sleeper but Bear backpacks him. Rourke tries a sunset flip and Bear just drops and crushes him for two. “I wasn’t lying when I said I loved you…but I’m gonna take your head off” Bear setting up for the kill…Rourke with a sole food! Tornado ddt! Kick out!! Bear fires Rourke up…big smooch and a superkick! Bear clubs him back! Codebreaker from Rourke! Aaron tries the handspring but Bear lariats him! Chokebomb for two! He wants the fire thunder driver….Rourke slips free! Drop toe hold into the buckles! Rourke hits a burning hammer style falcon arrow for the win!!! He got bear up for that???? Holy hell Awesome finish.
Danny Miles is out here saying that he doesn’t NEED to beat up Marbury again. But the Stetson Ranch would like to put another L on his books so they opened up the checkbook and brought in Matt Taven to get the job done. Where is Stetson btw? Off training in the New Japan LA Dojo apparently!
Main Event: Matt Taven (w/ Danny Miles) vs Jermaine Marbury (w/ Benny the Basketball)
Taven rolls out and powders his d***. With Jermaine’s baby powder. Like ya do. Taven is big manning Marbury early. And it’s earned. Matt Taven is Matt Taven. He’s got Marbury on his back more often and soaking in the crowd…who loves basketball. Marbury with a kicks and starts whipping Taven into the buckles! Marbury with the juke and the cutter! Taven is completely flustered and can’t take the constant misdirection. The ref checks on Taven which lets Miles slide in and hit a German! Crowd chanting for that D Fence but Taven is starting to roll again. Marbury tries to fight back but gets the eyes raked. Taven with a slingshot kick to the head that sends Marbury back into the clutches of Danny Miles. But it’s still not enough for the three. Neckbreaker from Taven. Another two. He tries a lionsault…but eats knees! Taven thinks he’s getting juked but moves straight into a clothesline. The Kobe connects! Taven eats a code red! Both are down and the crowd is hot for this main event. Taven with a quick slam and a PK drops Marbury but only for two again! Marbury hits a ddt…up to the top….Miles tries to interfere again but eats a boot! Taven uses the distraction to hit a headlock driver and a flying kick to put the lights out for the three.
Taven and Miles celebrate on the stage as Marbury grabs the mic. He says everyone is sick of Miles. He is sick of Miles’ cheap tactics. He wished there WAS a replay. And next week, miles gets to play by basketball rules. In the first “Time Out” match, Marbury and Miles will have three time outs each and one opportunity to challenge a call. Marbury thinks this will even the odds and Miles clearly has some planning to do.
