Teams Look To Climb NWA Tag Ladder At ‘Hard Times V’ March 22 in Dothan, AL

The SlimeBallz continue to climb the ladder of success in the National Wrestling Alliance.  

On March 22 in Dothan, AL, they have that chance quite literally. At Hard Times V, NWA World Tag Team Champions Knox & Murdoch defend against The SlimeBallz in a ladder match. 

“In traditional action, this might be an incredible mismatch,” says NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli. 

“Knox & Murdoch tower over The SlimeBallz, which would normally be a tremendous advantage,” Galli continues. “In the unpredictable environment of a ladder match, though, Sage Chantz and Tommy Rant being so much smaller and more agile could be a huge benefit!” 

Four teams will be watching the action closely. That same night, Blunt Force Trauma with Aron Stevens, The Immortals (Odinson & Kratos), The Colóns and Daisy Kill & Talos clash to become No. 1 contenders.

“Each of these teams has a valid argument to challenge for  the NWA World Tag Team Titles,” says Galli. “At Hard Times V, one team earns a guaranteed shot against the winners of the ladder match.”

Both battles will added impact, as the NWA announced the return of the 2025 Crockett Cup Tournament earlier this week. The annual tag team tradition comes to Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena on May 17.  

“The outcomes of these matches in Dothan will undoubtedly play into rankings for each of these teams heading into The Crockett Cup,” Galli shares. “Things are really heating up in the National Wrestling Alliance’s stacked tag team division!”
