Vert Vixen has officially been added to the PROGRESS Women’s World Championship match at Chapter 179: PROGRESS Las Vegas, scheduled for April 17th at The Pearl Theater in Las Vegas. The stakes have been raised for what was already set to be a highly anticipated title bout between Nina Samuels and Rhio, but now, Vert Vixen will be in the mix as well, making it a Triple Threat match!
After overcoming the odds in a brutal eight-person DEFY To Survive match at Washington Hall, Rhio had firmly secured her position as the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship. With the title in her sights, it seemed like she was ready to face Nina Samuels and potentially capture the gold. However, just as Rhio began to focus on her upcoming title shot, she was interrupted by Vert Vixen, who wasted no time in reminding Rhio that their previous encounter for the title ended with Rhio escaping by count-out.
Vert Vixen, eager to stake her claim, issued a direct challenge to both Rhio and Nina Samuels for the Las Vegas show. The tension quickly escalated into a wild backstage brawl at DEFY, leaving fans questioning whether the title match could be about to change.
After the confrontation, PROGRESS management quickly made the decision to grant Vert Vixen her wish, officially adding her to the Women’s World Championship match. This means that at Chapter 179: PROGRESS Las Vegas, Nina Samuels will now defend her title against not just Rhio, but also Vert Vixen, making this an explosive and unpredictable Triple Threat match.
