ESPN is reporting that Players from the UFL's St. Louis Battlehawks and Houston Roughnecks plan to deliver a letter to UFC owner The Rock this weekend when he is in attendance at this week's season opening game after being unable to complete negotiations for a collective bargaining agreement.
ESPN obtained a copy of the letter, in which the players assume The Rock isn't aware of the situation and request "either year-round health care or a wage increase that would let them pay for it on their own."
In a previous statement, the UFL said it "continues to negotiate in good faith with the players union to finalize a collective bargaining agreement, which will be beneficial both to the players and the league."
