While he will be in Los Angeles this Saturday, MLW Middleweight Champion Mistico is injured. His status as to whether he will be cleared to perform is described as "day to day" but either way, he will appear on the MLW Battle Riot special and will sign before the show. If he cannot perform, we are told the company has a Plan B in mind.
We are told MLW is already locking in plans for their second Los Angeles event and are very happy with the reception leading into the show. One source with the promotion pegged the Battle Riot sellout as 2,021 fans.
The promotion will be revealing a new color commentator this Saturday. We are told this person has been locked in since February.
Paul Walter Hauser is doing media in New York City and Los Angeles this week to hype his new IFC film, Luckiest Man in America and MLW Battle Riot.
Mr. Thomas and Shane Haste are the latest names official for the Battle Riot match.
