1 - Katsuya Murashima, Ninja Mack, Boltin Oleg, Toru Yano and Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Master Wato, YOH, Tiger Mask, Tomoaki Honma and Togi Makabe
YOH forces Murashima to tap out to an Anaconda Vice.
The Jr. Heavyweights were highlighted in this match as the Super J Cup is coming in May 2025. Ninja Mack looked rusty in a New Japan ring, but he has a month to get ready for the tournament.
2 - TAKA Michinoku and Yuya Uemura vs. Drilla Moloney and SANADA
War Dogs attack at the bell. The fights spills out into the crowd. SANADA throws Uemura into Milano Collection A.T. at Japanese commentary. Very dangerous. SANADA threw Uemura into the stands and he landed in a fan's lap.
Moloney hits a Gore on TAKA and follows with a Drilla Killa.
Moloney pins TAKA.
SANADA continues to beat down Uemura on the floor after the match.
A family of fans who like the War Dogs give Moloney a beer after the match, which Moloney drinks.
3 - Hartley Jackson, Kosei Fujita and Robbie Eagles vs. Gabe Kidd, Robbie X and Taiji Ishimori
Another match which the fight goes into the crowd.
Kidd pins Jackson after a Piledriver.
The same family give Kidd a beer, who happily drinks and gives cheers to Moloney.
4 - BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi and Tetsuya Naito vs. Jakob Austin Young, Francesco Akira and Callum Newman
Takahashi hits a Dragon Screw on Young and applies Maximum Beholding.
Young taps out.
5 - Yota Tsuji vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru
The announcers are still saying "Bullet Club House of Torture".
Are they separate groups or not? This is confusing. New Japan should make a decision if they are split and completely different groups.
Tsuji takes the mic and says he wants a clean match. Kanemaru agrees and they shake hands. Solid wrestling match. Kanemaru tries to grab his whiskey bottle. EVIL and Dick Togo run to the ring and tell him to stop and not to cheat. The crowd is surprised by this.
Tsuji was about to hit a Gene Blaster, but Kanemaru drops to the mat. Tsuji stops his charge and EVIL hits a low blow on Tsuji. The referee pushes EVIL. Dick Togo low blows the referee.
Match is a no contest.
EVIL brings in a chair and they attack Tsuji's leg. Kanemaru applies the figure four leg lock.
EVIL cuts a promo on Tsuji and poses with the IWGP Global belt over Tsuji's body.
6 - El Desperado, YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. Clark Conners, Gedo and David Finlay
Desperado traps Gedo in Numero Dos. Gedo taps out.
Clark Conners hits Desperado with the Jr. Heavyweight belt after the match. Conners takes off his belt and chokes out Desperado.
Conners faces Desperado for the Jr. Heavyweight Title and he wants it to be a hardcore match. They will meet on April 4 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
Tetsuya Naito joins the Japanese commentary team and scares Milano Collection A.T. Bad night for Milano.
7 - Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Shingo Takagi
Another solid match. Tanahashi misses a High Fly Flow. Takagi hits him with headbutts. Tanahashi hits Takagi with stiff shots. Takagi hits Last of the Dragon. Takagi hits a Pumping Bomber. Two count. Takagi hits a Burning Dragon.
Takagi pins Tanahashi.
Takagi takes the mic and thanks Tanahashi. They shake hands after the match. The fans give an ovation to Tanahashi as he leaves the ring.
It seems Tanahashi's plan in his final year is to have single matches with every member of the New Japan roster. It will be interesting if Kazuchika Okada returns for Wrestle Kingdom in 2026 to face Tanahashi in his final match. It would be a nice farewell between two of the biggest Japanese stars during the modern era of New Japan.
