COMPLETE PREVIEW FOR TONIGHT'S TNA UNBREAKABLE PPV IN VEGAS

By Matt ten-Hoeve on 2025-04-17 13:30:00

TNA will present Unbreakable 2025 on April 17th at 10 PM Eastern at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada. Let’s take a look at the card that will air live on TNA+:

*TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich vs. Frankie Kazarian and Tessa Blanchard

*Sami Callihan vs. Mance Warner with Steph De Lander – Barbed Wire Massacre Match

*Mike Santana and The Hardys vs. Mustafa Ali and The Nemeths

*Eddie Edwards vs. Ace Austin vs. Steve Maclin – TNA International Championship Tournament Match

*Zachary Wentz vs. JDC vs. Eric Young – TNA International Championship Tournament Match

*TNA International Championship Tournament Final: AJ Francis vs. TBA vs. TBA

Here’s how I can see things happening…

Eddie Edwards vs. Ace Austin vs. Steve Maclin – TNA International Championship Tournament Match
Tournaments are always a bit unpredictable. Someone tends to make the finals that you don’t expect, but I think this match will come down to either Eddie Edwards or Ace Austin winning. Steve Maclin would also be a good choice to move on, but he’s currently tied up with Eric Young, so I feel like his head is not on straight and The Northern Armory may end up causing a distraction in this match. Eddie Edwards has a lot to prove, in my opinion, after almost firing his fellow members in The System. If he doesn’t move on in this tournament and win the new title… will The System hold him accountable for his losses? Hmm. With TNA dedicating a lot of Thursday to Chris Bey, I can see Ace Austin getting the big win here and I’m not mad at that. This is definitely a tough match to call, though.

Zachary Wentz vs. JDC vs. Eric Young – TNA International Championship Tournament Match
Much like with the other tournament match, this can go any of the three ways. Eric Young giving Steve Maclin an ultimatum may come back to bite him in this match or even the tournament final later in the night. Zachary Wentz would add some excitement to the final, but I don’t see him winning a title while he’s still going strong with Trey Miguel in The Rascalz. JDC may not be a favorite, but he is great at making other wrestlers look good and could be the choice to take the pinfall in the final. For me, I think this comes down to Wentz and Young. I can see Young winning and then getting tied up with Maclin in the final – either in the match itself or with interference shenanigans.

TNA International Championship Tournament Final: AJ Francis vs. TBA vs. TBA
The final will come down to my wishy-washy answers from above and AJ Francis. Francis gets the luxury of not having to wrestle twice in one night, so he’ll be heavily favored. I actually think Francis is a strong choice to win the new title. He may not be the popular choice, but he’s done a nice job since joining TNA. He gets good heat with KC Navarro and has actually been solid in the ring. Don’t get me wrong – I don’t want AJ Francis holding the TNA World Title, but I do think him having a run with this new International Championship could be fun. If Ace Austin makes it to the final, though, I don’t see how he loses. I think it’s a great story for him on a day where Chris Bey will get a lot of attention. Also, how cool would it be for Chris Bey to walk out and present Ace Austin with the title? Just a thought/hope…

Mike Santana and The Hardys vs. Mustafa Ali and The Nemeths
Two of the bigger feuds in TNA come together for one big match. Mike Santana and Mustafa Ali have been going at it for a couple of months now. While I haven’t loved the focus of the feud (Santana’s sobriety), I have enjoyed the performances. I think Santana and Ali are doing a great job with what they’ve been given. Ali, especially, has been menacing. The Hardys and The Nemeths haven’t hit the next gear just yet after the shocking start to the feud. However, the two brother tag teams going at it is a really cool concept and all four men do a solid to great job at what they do. If TNA does some even booking, I can see Santana and The Hardys taking the loss here. However, Ryan Nemeth taking a pinfall is not going to hurt much, either.

Sami Callihan vs. Mance Warner with Steph De Lander – Barbed Wire Massacre Match
Alright, so the debut of Mance Warner in January didn’t get much of a reaction, but this feud has been an absolute war. There have been a few spots between these two that made me grimace, but for the most part – I like how they’ve built to this moment. This match being a Barbed Wire Massacre is a heck of a way to end a feud and I’m sure things will get bloody. The storyline has set up Sami Callihan winning here, but I think Warner is the one who needs to pick up the win so that he continues to look strong as the newer person on the block.

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich vs. Frankie Kazarian and Tessa Blanchard
Joe Hendry is putting it all on the line by taking this match while injured. Frankie Kazarian has the chance to do some big-time damage to one of his Rebellion opponents so that he has a better chance of taking the title at the PPV. Tessa Blanchard will also be looking to have her opponent at Rebellion, Masha Slamovich, go into the PPV in worse shape than expected. I fully expect Hendry and Slamovich to take the loss here to make it seem like they are in jeopardy at Rebellion. How will it go down, though? Will it be a straight-up loss? Will Ethan Page get involved? Will Elijah get involved and “unintentionally” mess things up for Hendry? There are a lot of possibilities, but I see Kazarian and Blanchard ending the night looking strong.

Overall, this show shaped up to be a fun-looking card. The International Championship tournament will be a good way to feature multiple wrestlers and launch someone into a push. The six-man tag team match not only furthers the feuds, but will be rock solid in the ring. The Barbed Wire Massacre match will be a war. The Hendry/Slamovich vs. Kazarian/Blanchard match will also be furthering the storylines and will give us a good idea of how things may shake out at Rebellion.
