Place looks packed! Great venue! Fights are won by submission, knockout, count out, or disqualification. There’ll be 15-minute time limits with a 5-minute overtime, 20 minutes for the main event. They bring out the fighters for the evening. Lots of WWE representation tonight along with a LOT of heavy hitters including Royce Isaacs. Jonathan Gresham is here! DAMN! So is Zack Sabre Jr. I had no idea!
Karrion Kross takes the mic and says it’s good to be back in Vegas and puts Josh Barnett over for putting this together.
Leyla Hirsch vs. Jordan Blade
I know little of Blade but damn well know Hirsch is the real deal. Code of honor adhered to. Takedown by Hirsch. Stand-up, takedown by Hirsch. Blade with crossfaces. German by Blade. Armbar attempt by Blade. Legsweep by Hirsch. Palm strike exchange. Blade blocks a single leg. Blade reverses an armbar. Kick by Hirsch. Suplex by Hirsch. Palm strike exchange. Powerslam into ground and pound by Hirsch and the ref stops it.

Karmen Petrovic vs. Maika
Karmen feigns kicks, then goes into leg kicks. Takedown by Maika. They grapple. Maika backs off. Back kick by Karmen, takedown by Maika. Kicks by Karmen, reversed by Maika. Sweep kick into a crossface by Karmen. Throw and kick by Karmen. Nice sweep by Maika. Running kick by Karmen. Armbar by Maika. Karmen escapes and tries kicks. Choke by Maika and that’s it.

Shinya Aoki vs. Charlie Dempsey
You know Dempsey knows what he’s doing. Test of strength. They keep the hold despite suplexes. Aoki tries for a kimura. Kneebar by Aoki. Dempsey counters with one of his own. Aoki back to a kneebar, Dempsey reverses into an ankle lock. Dempsey keeps a leglock on. They each have ankle locks on. Takedown by Dempsey, headscissors by Aoki, Dempsey escapes. Cravate takedown by Dempsey. Wristlock exchange, knee strikes by Dempsey. Octopus by Aoki. Dempsey escapes and nails a triangle. Aoki grabs a choke. Great grappling exhibition. Toehold/heel hook by Aoki. Dempsey into a kneebar. Neck crank by Dempsey. Uppercut exchange. Dempsey drops Aoki on his head, knocking Aoki out.

Karrion Kross vs. The Most Feared Kratos
Kratos is a BEAST. Kross is announced as Killer Kross…hmmm. They feel each other out. Kratos tries a choke. Kratos with a roll, Kross tries an armbar. They grapple. A series of rollovers. Kross keeps his gi on during the fight. Kratos with knees. Kross pulls off the gi top. They trade palm strikes. Lariat by Kratos. German by Kratos. Powerbomb by Kratos. Headbutt by Kross into a suplex. Thez backdrop by Kross into a sleeper. Kratos taps.
WINNER: KARRION KROSS
Tank Abbott gets introduced to the crowd. As does Don Frye.
Pete Dunne vs. Timothy Thatcher
Lockup, armbar by Thatcher, reversed by Dunne. Takedown by Dunne, Thatcher escapes and goes for an armbar. Toehold by Dunne. They trade ankle locks. Neither can get a real edge on the other. Thatcher grabs the fingers and steps on them. Headlock by Thatcher into a wristlock by Dunne. Forearms by Thatcher. Armlock by Dunne. They trade strikes. Triangle by Dunne, Thatcher escapes and applies a half crab. Upkicks by Dunne. Armbar by Dunne into a headlock. Thatcher escapes and kicks Dunne. Dunne with a kick into a leglock. Thatcher with a kick and into an armbar. Kicks by Dunne. Uppercuts by Thatcher. Enzuigiri by Dunne. Dunne with an armbar and Thatcher taps.

Miyu Yamashita vs. Nattie Neidhart
Lots of early grabbing by Nattie. Headlock takeover by Nattie. Kneelifts by Miyu. Double leg sweep by Nattie but Miyu with a guillotine attempt. Miyu goes for a kneebar. Stand-up. Belly-to-back takedown into a kick by Miyu. Nattie rolls into an ankle lock, hammerlock into a sleeper by Nattie. Miyu with rapid kicks. Takedown by Nattie, full guard by Miyu. Nattie with a hard takedown, Miyu counters with an ankle lock. Huge roundhouse kick by Miyu. Escape into a sharpshooter by Nattie and Miyu taps.

We have a post-match brawl, which the referee breaks up. Nattie then gets into a shoving match with Kenzie Paige, the NWA World Women’s Champion.
Royce Isaacs vs. Tavion Heights
Leg kicks by Isaacs. Lockup. Body lock waist lock by Heights. Rollover into a leglock by Isaacs. Neck crank by Heights. Double wristlock by Isaacs. Lots of counter wrestling here. Palm strikes and a headbutt by Isaacs. Heights with a takedown. Isaacs with a choke, escape by Heights. Takedown by Isaacs into a leglock. Heights escapes and nails a clothesline. Cradle slam into an arm triangle by Heights. Isaacs escapes and nails a powerbomb. Kneebar by Isaacs, Heights rolls out. Both men roll out of the ring, Heights rolls him back in. Ground and pound into headbutts and the ref calls it off.

Konami vs. Shayna Baszler
Michin is with Baszler.
Takedown by Baszler, followed by another. Konami with a reversal into a foot lock. Konami wraps Baszler’s leg around the post. Baszler takes a powder. Back in the ring, it’s leg kicks by Shayna. They trade kicks. Suplex by Baszler. Takedown into an armbar by Konami. Stretch Muffler by Baszler. Konami with a go-behind into a sleeper. Baszler tries an ankle lock but gets kicked into the post. Suplex by Baszler and she stomps the back of Konami’s head and the referee stops the match.
WINNER: SHAYNA BASZLER
Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Jonathan Gresham
Test of strength into a single leg by ZSJ. ZSJ with an amateur roll. Gresham escapes and they grapple, ZSJ tries to tie him up. Neither man can get the edge here. Double chicken wing by Gresham, ZSJ escapes and tries a triangle choke. So much counter wrestling here, almost too fast to call. Headscissors by ZSJ. Wristlock by Gresham.
Kind of seems like these two know each other a little too well. Cravate escape by Gresham. Gresham kicks ZSJ out of the ring. Back in, Gresham blocks a kimura. Stomp by ZSJ. Chop exchange. Waist lock suplex by Gresham. Surfboard by Gresham into a stretch hold. Back to their feet, Gresham with a takedown into a sleeper. Single leg into a headlock, ZSJ escapes. Figure-four by Gresham, ZSJ rolls them both to the floor. Back in the ring, they trade palm strikes as the bell rings.
TIME LIMIT DRAW
There’ll be a 5-minute overtime.
Side kicks by ZSJ, Gresham with chops. These guys are tired, feeling the effects of the fight. ZSJ rebounds with kicks. Pace quickens, ZSJ with a takedown and running PK for the knockout.
WINNER: ZACK SABRE JR.
Josh Barnett vs. Gabe Kidd
I, for one, am very comfortable not stepping across a ring from either of these guys. Early feeling out process. Inside grappling, Barnett blocks a single leg. Sweep takedown by Kidd. Barnett rolls him over. Kidd with an armbar. Full mount by Kidd. Barnett escapes and grabs the leg into an ankle lock. Kidd grabs an ankle as well. Kidd bails and argues with the fans. Kidd knocks Barnett to the floor and nails a running dive. Back in the ring, Barnett with elbow strikes. Josh tries an armbar into a straight ankle lock. Kidd escapes but Barnett tries a head-and-arm choke. Kidd escapes. Headbutts by Kidd. Barnett with one of his own, he tries a choke. Barnett with a bulldog choke. Kidd escapes. Palm strikes and knee strikes. Kidd throws him down. Piledriver by Kidd. Barnett is defenseless from the ensuing punches and the referee halts it.
WINNER: GABE KIDD
Kidd has the mic and tells a kid in the audience to buzz off (more colorful language). Kidd pays respect to Barnett. Barnett thanks the crowd for coming.
