AJA KONG APPEARS - 4/17 SPARK JOSHI LADY LUCK RESULTS

Spark Joshi Lady Luck was held at the Veil Pavilion at Silverton Casino Lodge in Las Vegas, NV Thursday 4/17/2025.

The commentary team was Trevin Adams and Dan Berry. 

The Cute Sisters start the show in the traditional way by lip-syncing the theme for Spark Joshi. 

AZM vs Brittany Blake vs Momo Watanabe vs Joseline Navarro

All four lock up and Momo goes to the floor and Blake rolls out as well and AZM goes for a quick pinfall on Navarro. Blake and Momo then enter the ring and work on AZM, who is able to recover and get a hurricanrana on Momo. Navarro and Black throw hands and Blake gets an insigiri and Navarro is able to get a Saito suplex and Blake, who rolls out of the ring. 

All four women are finally in the ring and Blake gets a cross leg crab on Navarro and AZM gets an octopus on Momo. The holds break due to rope grabs and Blake and AZM get drop-kicks off the top as we go into each woman cutting off a run in the ropes on the last one to do so. Navarro gets a kick and a pin on Blake, broken up by AZM and Momo. Blake and Navarro are shoved into each other and kicks take them down. 

Navarro gets a pump kick and AZN breaks up a pin with a double stomp from the top. We get a ref bump and Momo brings in her bat. She hits two of the women before Navarro stops her. Momo gets a half-and-half suplex followed by a big kick on Navarro for the pin and the win.

Winner: Momo Watanabe

Short match with lots of action that probably worked much better in person as the camerawork didn’t catch everything.

Aja Kong & Kyoko Inoue vs Maya World & Nightshade 

Maya and Kyoko start by shaking hands. Kyoko is able to get Maya in the ropes and breaks clean. Maya lays in a chop and Kyoko takes time to recover then asks for another and Maya lays in chops and Kyoko ignores it and then hits double chops and whips her to the corner. Maya comes in over the top of Kyoko and charges into Kyoko who knocks her down. Maya gets a sling blade and covers for two. 

Maya goes to the top and Kyoko joins her, gets an eye rake and then gets a superplex from the top. Kyoko lays in a forearm and Kong tags in. Maya throws forearms at Kong, who ignores them and knocks Maya down. Kong gets a slam and an elbow drop for two. Maya tries to punch her way up and Kong drops her with one punch and then stomps on Maya’s hand. 

After Kyoko tags in, Maya gets a pair of kicks and an insigiri and tags in Nightshade. Kyoko t and Nightshade clothesline each other a couple of times before Nightshade is dropped. Kong tags in and lays in chops. Nightshade ducks one and lays in chops and a headbutt. She tries a shoulder tackle to no avail and Kong clotheslines her down. Nightshade rolls to the floor and Kong follows her and everyone brawls on the floor.

Kong rolls Nightshade into the ring and Kyoko charges into Nightshade in the corner. Kong gets in the ring and she and Kyoko charge at her, but Nightshade dodges them and clotheslines them down. Nightshade hits a cannonball in the corner on Kong. Maya gets a frog splash and Nightshade hits a splash and covers for two and Kyoko breaks it up. 

Kyoko clothesline Maya and Nightshade down. Kong hits a Saito suplex on Nightshade for two. Maya and Nightshade are whipped into each other and Kong hits the spinning back fist on Nightshade for the pin and the win.

Winners: Aja Kong & Kyoko Inoue

Kong and Kyoko are legends in Japanese women’s wrestling, and this was a match to let the crowd see them work. Kind of an elevated enhancement match. 

Starlight Kid & Jada Stone vs Syuri & Zoe Lucas 

Syuri and Kid start the match by locking up and Syuri forces them into the ropes and they lock up again and Syuri gets a side headlock. They run the ropes and Kid gets a casadora and then gets a drop toe hold on Zoe. Kid and Jada hit double moonsaults for two. Syuri gets a shotgun dropkick on Kid and then a running knee in the corner for two.

Syuri gets a kick to the back and then a snap mare and another kick to the back for two. Syuri gets a sleeper and Kid gets to the rope for a break. Zoe tags in and works over Kid in her corner. Zoe gets a suplex for two. Zoe lays in kicks and tags in Syuri. Syuri gets a suplex for two. Kid lays in blows and Syuri calls for more and then boots Kid into the ropes. Kid gets a springboard crossbody and crawls to her corner. Jada tags in and dodges a clothesline. Jada misses a handspring elbow, but hits a meteora for two. Syuri gets a face-plant and then a PK for two.

Zoe is tagged in and gets a series of chops. Jada gets a big kick from the top and tags in Kid. Kid gets a basement kick and stomps on Zoe’s knee. She then gets a knee drop onto Zoe’s knees and locks on a stretch muffler and Zoe gets to the ropes for a break. Syuri gets in the ring to cut off Kid’s charge and Zoe follows up with kicks and Syuri works over Jada on the floor. Zoe gets a spinning facebuster for two.

Zoe pulls up Kid for a vertical suplex, but Kid escapes and gets a big kick to the knee. Zoe lays in chops and Kid works on the knee with kicks. Zoe punches Kid down, but Jada gets a handspring stunner. Kid hits a fisherman’s buster and holds on for a two count. Kid grabs the stretch muffler. Syuri breaks it up with a kick. 

Zoe gets a brain buster for two, broken up by Jada. Jada and Syuri fight on the floor and Zoe gets a scorpion kick on Kid and tries for a package piledriver, but Kid escapes. Kid grabs the stretch muffler again and Zoe has to tap out.

Winners: Jada Stone and Starlight Kid

Ram Kaichow (Pacific Champion) vs Vertvixen 

They lock up and Vert has a pronounced size advantage. They trade headlock and a waistlocks. Ram gets a headlock takedown. Ram dodges a lock-up and flips off Vert. Vert gets a kick to the midsection, and Ram gets a rollup for two. Vert gets a shoulder tackle and Ram comes off the ropes. Vert gets a scoop slam for two. Ram hits a series of blows and Vert kicks her to the corner and lays in boots. Vert gets a sliding kick for two. 

Vert gets a drop toe hold and then an elbow to the back for two. Vert gets a butterfly stretch and Ram gets to the ropes for a break. Vert breaks with a kick to the back. Ram is able to reverse a hold and get a sleeper on Vert’s back. Vert backs into the corner for Ram to break. Ram gets a headbutt and leaps into Vert’s arms. Vert hits a backbreaker. Vert grabs a sharpshooter and Ram crawls to the ropes for the break.

Ram lays in strikes and kicks and escapes a brainbuster and gets a shotgun drop-kick. Vert whips Ram into the corner and Ram is able to get the boot up and a bulldog for two. Ram gets a ripcord clothesline that does nothing. Ram tries a shoulder tackle that doesn’t work twice and Vert knocks her down. Ram fights out of a slam and gets a cross body.

Ram goes to the top and hits a crossbody for two.  Ram misses a ripcord and tries for a backslide. She switches to a rollup for two. Ram tries for a cradle and Vert counters for a rollup. Very gets a blue thunder bomb for two. Vert flips the bird to Ram and grabs the belt. The ref takes it away and Ram nails Vert with a lung blower and then a tiger feint kick for two. Ram gets the short arm clothesline for two, but the ref is dragged from the ring by Sumie Sakai and Dani Mo.

As the ref is on the outside, Vert nails Ram with the belt and hits a brain buster for the pin and the win.

Winner and NEW Pacific Champion Vertvixen

SAKI (Atlantic Champion) vs Dani Mo

Saki calls for a handshake and Mo shakes her hand. They lock up and go to waistlocks and arm bars. Mo gets a headlock takeover and Saki rolls her back for a two count. Saki gets a head scissors and Mo handstands out of it. Mo gets a side headlock and Saki reverses it and holds her own. Mo rolls her back for two. 

They work to their feet and Mo punches her way out of the headlock and then poses and she holds Saki down. MO calls for a test of strength and Saki doesn’t buy in until she grabs Mo’s hand with both hands. Mo gets a takeover for two. Saki calls for the test of strength. She kicks Mo when Mo reaches up and then puts Mo in the rocking horse and then drops Mo to the mat. 

Saki pulls up Mo, who fights free. MO lays in chops and kicks in the corner. Mo gets a straight-up slam and then drops an elbow after showing off in the corner for two. Mo puts knees into Saki’s back and chokes her on the second rope. She then ties Saki in the ropes and finishes the hold with a kick. She lays in a big chop and snaps Saki off the ropes for two. 

Saki lays in elbows, but Mo stops her with a big forearm. Saki gets the boots up in the ropes and Mo charges, then hits an atomic drop. She charges at Mo who gets a boot up and covers for two. Mo gets a series of kicks in the corner and then puts Saki on top. Mo joins her on the top and they fight on the top. Saki knocks Mo down and then puts Mo on the top rope. She gets a running knee to Saki’s midsection and follows with a Vader bomb for two.

Saki gets a sharpshooter and sinks it in deep. Mo crawls to the rope for the break, but Saki releases the hold and locks it on again, lifting Mo’s arms as well for a modification of the rocking horse. Saki drops her and pulls her to her feet. Mo gets a pull-down on Saki for two. Mo gets a drop-kick for two. Mo hoists Saki, who escapes with a rollup for two. MO gets a kick to the back of Saki’s head. 

Mo goes to the top and leaps, but Saki rushes in to avoid the attack. Saki gets a big pump kick and then trips Mo and gets a sliding knee to the head for two. Mo gets a cutter for two as Saki gets a foot on the ropes. Mo goes to the top and kicks Saki away and hits a cross body for two. Saki gets a Samoan driver and Sumie Sakai pulls the ref out of the ring. The other women pull Sakai to the back. 

Mo seems to have Ram’s headpiece and the ref takes it from her. Saki gets a running brain buster, goes to the top and gets double knees on Mo for the pin and the win.

Winner and still Atlantic Champion: Saki

Hazuki vs Lena Kross for the World Championship, which is currently vacant.

There is no handshake here and Kross calls for the test of strength and she is much taller than Hazuki. Hazuki stomps on her foot and they trade headlocks. Hazuki shoots her into the ropes and Kross gets a shoulder tackle and a stomp. Kross gets a series of shoulder thrusts in the corner and then picks up Hazuki and gets a fallaway slam after walking around with Hazuki. 

Kross puts one foot on Hazuki for a two count. She lays in a few stomps and Hazuki rolls to the apron. Hazuki is pulled up and Kross forearms her down. 

The camera is really shaky for this part of the match and it’s quite distracting.

Kross gets a spinning slam for two. Kross whips Hazuki into the ropes, hard. Hazuki comes off the ropes with a tejaris and whips Kross into the ropes. She then gets a double knee to the back and a drop-kick on Kross. Hazuki gets a series of face washes and follows with a running face wash for one. Kross lifts Hazuki and Hazuki is able to get a choke on Kross’s back. Kross tries to knock her off by backing into the corner, but Hazuki holds on until Hazuki has to break after a few times back into the corner turnbuckles. 

Kross gets a running kick for two. Hazuki lays in forearms and Kross shakes them off and nails her back and Hazuki drops. Hazuki pops back up and lays in a series of blows, bringing Kross to her knees. Hazuki comes off the ropes and Kross gets a big boot. Kross misses a kick and Hazuki gets the low bridge on her and then dives, but Kross grabs her and drives her back into the apron. 

Kross puts Hazuki on her shoulders and drops Hazuki’s head into the apron. Hazuki struggles to get into the ring, and collapses more than once as she gets into the ring at 18 (They have a 20 count). Kross puts Hazuki in the Gori Stretch and Hazuki is able to get a Code Red for two. Kross misses a charge in the corner and Hazuki gets a running elbow. Hazuki goes to the top and Kross nails her with a high kick. They fight on the top and Hazuki tries for a sunset flip bomb, but Kross is able to hang on. Hazuki gets a codebreaker pulling Kross down from the top.

Hazuki goes to the top again and hits a missile drop-kick and Kross is knocked across the ring but doesn’t go down. Hazuki gets a lung blower for two. Hazuki goes back to the top and hits a senton. Hazuki goes to the top again. Kross nails a big chop and joins her on top. Kross gets a super plex, rolls through for a front slam and a knee strike for two. 

Kross gets a jack knife power bomb for two. Hazuki escapes the pickup. Cross gets a sliding clothesline for two. Kross gets another knee for two. Kross gets a shoulder breaker for two. Hazuki looks completely out of it, but keeps shooting a shoulder up at two. Kross picks up Hazuki who gets a spike DDT and then covers for the pin and the win.

Winner and NEW World Champion: Hazuki

They then have everyone from the show to the ring for a group photo, as is tradition for Spark Joshi. Vertvixen grabs a mic and says the next Spark Joshi show is in Texas on 6/29/2025.
