Match Number Five: MLW World Championship Match: 40 Man Battle Riot
The first two participants are Alex Hammerstone and Raj Dhesi.
They go face to face and then back off. They lock up and Hammerstone backs Raj into the corner and gives a clean break. They lock up and Raj with a knee and forearm. Alex with an Irish whip and Raj floats over and hits an arm drag. Alex escapes a slam.
Entrant 3 is Atlantis Junior
Atlantis with a shoulder to Alex and a kick to Raj. Atlantis with a cross body to both men. Atlantis drop kicks Alex and kicks Raj. Alex grabs Atlantis and he presses Atlantis but Atlantis escapes and Raj with a boot.
Entrant 4 is Virus.
Raj misses a boot on Virus and Atlantis with a shoulder tackle. Virus with a shoulder to the knee and a kick to Atlantis. Alex with a shoulder to Virus and he chops Virus on the turnbuckles. Virus with a head scissors to Alex and Raj with a boot to Virus. Virus holds on to the ropes. Alex has Atlantis on the turnbuckles.
Entrant 5 is Jesus Rodriguez.
Jesus kicks and punches Raj. Jesus with a flying forearm to Raj and a cutter to Atlantis. Jesus with a jaw breaker to Alex. Jesus with an enzuigiri in the corner to Hammerstone. Virus and Jesus exchange chops. Virus with a kick to Jesus.
Entrant 6 is Star Junior.
Star kicks Jesus and hits a slingshot neck breaker. Star with kicks and drop kicks. Star with an Irish whip to Jesus and Star is sent to the apron. Star with a springboard head scissors to Atlanta. Star with a flying clothesline to Raj. Star with a clothesline to Alex. Star runs into a boot from Alex and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
Entrant 7 is Esfinge.
Esfinge with kicks to Raj. Alex kicks Star in the corner. Esfinge with a head scissors to Jesus. Star with a jaw breaker to Alex. Jesus misses a splash and Esfinge with a kick to Jesus in the corner. Esfinge and Jesus battle on the turnbuckles. Virus joins in and then Alex comes under and he hits a tower of doom into the ring. Raj pins Virus.
Virus Eliminated
Entrant 8 is Ikuro Kwon.
Kwon kicks Star and Jesus. Kwon goes after Alex and Atlantis. He stops Efinge and Raj. Kwon with kicks to Raj. Jesus tries to eliminate Star. Kwon is sent to the apron by Raj. Kwon kicks Raj and so does Esin. Star kicks Raj in the hamstring.
Entrant 9 is Barbaro Cavernario.
Barbaro with a wrist clutch suplex on Kwon and a suplex to Star. Barbaro uns into a boot from Atlantis and Barbaro does the worm. Barbaro kicks Atlantis. Raj rakeAlex with forearms to Barbaro.
Entrant 10 is Blue Panther.
Panther punches Raj and then he hits a cross body on Star and Barbaro. He follows with a double face plant. Panther goes to the turnbuckles to pose and no one does anything about it. Kwon kicks Esfinge and gets a near fall. Star kicks Kwon. Raj rakes the eyes of Atlantis. Panther punches Jesus in the corner. Alex punches Raj. Esfinge grabs Panther from behind.
Entrant 11 is Magnus.
Raj with an Irish whip and punches to Kwon. Magnus with cutters to Atlantis followed by a butterfly back breaker for a near fall. Alex punches and kicks Jesus and Atlantis. Magnus clotheslines Atlantis Junior over the top rope to the floor.
Atlantis Junior eliminated.
Esfinge tries to eliminate Raj. Magnus with a Tiger Feint Kick to Esfinge.
Entrant 12 is Juicy Finau.
Alex forces Kwon to tap out to the torture rack.
Ikuro Kwon eliminated.
Finau goes after Alex. Juicy fights off everyone. Raj and Juicy go after Panther but Panther holds on to the ropes. Star Junior, Esfinge, and Barbaro Cavernario are eliminated.
Entrant 13 is Ultimo Guerrero.
Ultimo wants Raj and Raj catches him off the turnbuckles. Raj with a slam and he misses an elbow drop. Ultimo with a delayed vertical suplex to Raj. Ultimo poses on the turnbuckles and no one goes after him.
Entrant 14 is Atlantis.
Panther stops Magnus. Juicy goes after Raj but Raj stops him. Atlantis with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker to Magnus. Atlantis with a double sledge to Hammerstone. Ultimo gets Panther on his shoulders and he is about to go to the floor but he holds on to the ropes. Alex punches Finau.
Entrant 15 is Hechicero.
Hechicero with a victory roll on Magnus and then he hits a head scissors driver to Ultimo for a near fall. Panther chops Hechicero and he hits a back elbow. Magnus chokes Ultimo. Finau Irish whips Jesus and hits a splash. Juicy with a heads butt to Magnus. Jesus with a side head lock to Juicy.
Entrant 16 is Okumura.
Okumura with a kick to Magnus and a punch to Hechicero. Okumura with a Tower of London to Hechicero. Okumura with a cutter to Magnus. Panther chops Okumura. Atlantis and Panther exchange chops in the center of the ring. Ultimo clotheslines Atlantis. Atlantis with a cross body to Ultimo and Ultimo with a Stretch Muffler and and Atlantis taps out.
Entrant 17 is Ariel Dominguez.
Dominguez with a head scissors to Magnus. Ariel escapes Raj and gets back into the ring. Raj blocks a sunset flip and Ariel holds on to the ropes and he has Raj hanging in the ropes and they both get back into the ring. Alex kicks Magnus. Ultimo with forearms to Ariel. Panther kicks Ultimo and hits a head scissors off the turnbuckles.
Entrant 18 is Mr. Thomas.
Tomas goes after Raj and connects with a punch. Ultimo Guerrero and Okumura are eliminated. Thomas with a boot to Ariel. Hechicero pins Panther. Manus and Hechicero are eliminated. Thomas presses Ariel onto everyone on the floor and he is eliminated. Jesus is eliminated. Alex gets Finau up for a power slam and he clotheslines Finau over the top rope to the floor. Hammerstone clotheslines Raj over the top rope to eliminate him. Thomas and Hammerstone go face to face and Thomas with a forearm and kick. Thomas goes for a suplex but Hammerstone with a Nightmare Pendulum but Thomas rolls to the floor.
Entrant 19 is Journey Fatu.
Hammerstone wants the crowd to be quiet. Fatu with a punch and Hammerstone punches back. They go back and forth. Fatu with punches and a thrust kick. Hammerstone with a flying boot. Hammerstone sets for a Nightmare Pendulum but Fatu backs Alex into the turnbuckles. Fatu chokes Alex in the corner.
Entrant 20 is Bobby Fish.
Thomas attacks Fish on the floor while Alex punches and kicks Fatu. Fatu with a punch while Thomas chokes Fish against the guardrails. Hammerstone with a spinebuster to Fatu for a near fall.
Entrant 21 is CW Anderson.
CW hits Thomas with a crowbar. He sends Thomas into the ring post. He chokes Thomas with the crowbar. Fish with a forearm to Thomas while Fatu chops Alex. Thomas is sent into the ring steps. Fish chokes Thomas.
Entrant 22 is Chris Adonis.
Adonis punches Fatu many times. Adonis with more chops to Fatu. Fatu with chops of his own. Adonis with a kick to Fatu and he tries to send him over the top rope. Alex gets Fatu on the turnbuckles and eliminates him. Adonis takes off his shirt and he goes face to face with Alex. Alex poses and Chris kicks Alex in the ding ding. Adonis goes for the Adonis Lock but Alex blocks it.by backing Adonis into the turnbuckles. Alex with a bicycle kick.
Entrant 23 is Paul Walter Hauser.
Hauser brings a shopping cart of weapons. He swings a kendo stick at air and then he throws chairs into the ring. Hauser has pliers but CW punches him. Adonis slams Alex onto a chair. CW uses the pliers on Hauser's forehead and CW hits Hauser as well.
Entrant 24 is Brett Ryan Gosselin.
Brett runs away from Thomas and he gets in the ring. Thomas hits Brett with a kendo stick. Thomas sends Brett into the turnbuckles many times. Hauser kicks CW and hits him with a kendo stick. Hauser kicks Fish and hits him with the kendo stick. Brett hits Thomas with a kendo stick. Hauser with a clothesline to Fish.
Entrant 25 is Matt Riddle.
Riddle with a fisherman's buster to Fish. Riddle chokes Alex in the corner and hits Adonis with forearms. Riddle tries to eliminate Adonis. Brett punches Hauser while CW kicks Riddle. Adonis and Hauser kick Riddle. Thomas punches and kicks Brett. Adonis chokes Hauser. Alex fish hooks Fish and punches him in the corner.
Entrant 26 is Brock Anderson.
Brock with a spinebuster to Thomas. Riddle kicks Brock and Thomas is eliminated by Riddle. Riddle chops Brett while Fish kicks Adonis. Brett punches and kicks Riddle. Brett works on Riddle's ribs. Adonis with a forearm to Brett.
Entrant 27 is Paul London.
Paul with a shoulder to CW and he eliminates Fish. London with forearms to Brock. Brett tries to send London into the turnbuckles. Adonis has the Adonis Lock on Riddle on the apron and London hits Adonis. Riddle with a body scissors to eliminate Adonis. Riddle kicks CW and Hauser kicks Brock.
Entrant 28 is Alex Kane.
Hauser with a rollup on CW for the three count. Brock eliminates Hauser and London eliminates Brock. Kane with a suplex to Hammerstone. Kane punches Brett on the turnbuckles. Brett rakes London's eyes. Hammerstone with a German suplex to Kane. Kane with a German to Hammerstone. Hammerstone with a German. Kane with a German to Hammerstone.
Entrant 29 is Matthew Justice.
Kane with a forearm to Hammerstone. Justice climbs the ladder and he leaps onto Fish and the Andersons on the floor. Justice chops Brock. London chokes Brett. Justicie sends Brock into the ring steps. Kane goes after the ribs. Riddle with a tarantula on Kane in the ropes.
Entrant 30 is Satoshi Kojima.
Kane punches Riddle in the ribs. Kojima is shocked to see Hammerstone in the ring. He goes after London and Kane punches Kojima. Justice finally goes into the ring while Kane chops Kojima in the ropes. Hammerstone with a torture rack on Kane followed by a Burning Hammer for a near fall. Kojima punches London in the corner while Hammerstone punches Kane. Riddle hits Brett with the kendo stick. Justice lands in the shopping cart and he is sent back into the ring. Justice and London have Kane in the corner.
Entrant 31 is Bishop Dyer.
Dyer wtih Deep Six on Riddle. Kane pie faces Dyer. Kane with sets for a suplex but Dyer escapes. London with a sleeper to Dyer but Dyer sends London over the top rope but London lands on a table. Dyer punches London off the apron to the floor. Dyer clotheslines Kane over the top rope to eliminate him. Dyer punches Hammerstone.
Entrant 32 is KUSHIDA.
KUSHIDA with punches to anyone in the ring. KUSHIDA with a hip toss followed by a cartwheel and drop kick to Justice. Hauser and Brett fight around tables on the floor. Hammerstone has some words for Riddle. They push each other and Hammerstone with a shoulder tackle. Riddle with strikes to Hammerstone. Hammerstone grabs Riddle by the throat but Riddle with a knee.
Entrant 33 is Shane Haste.
Shane with elbows to everyone. Haste with uppercuts to Hammerstone but Hammerstone with a forearm. Shane with a drop kick but Hammerstone with a power slam for a near fall. Outside the ring, Hauser climbs a ladder and hits an elbow drop onto Brett through tables. Shane punches KUSHIDA. Justice and Dyer exchange forearms. Justice with an elbow to Dyer. Riddle punches Kojima. KUSHIDA with a hoverboard lock on Shane in the ropes.
Entrant 34 is Mads Krugger
Mads has a chainsaw with him. Justice has a kendo stick and he hits Mads and the chainsaw drops to the mat. Mads with a kick and he breaks the kendo stick. Mads chokes slams Justice through tables on the floor to eliminate him. Shane and Mads punch Riddle. Mads punches KUSHIDA and then Shane and Dyer work over Hammerstone in the corner. Mads chokes Riddle in the ropes. Hammerstone fights off almost everyone left in the match and he is on the apron. Hammerstone is eliminated. Shane kicks Riddle. Dyer with knees to Riddle's ribs.
Entrant 35 is Tom Lawlor.
Shane misses an elbow drop and Tom with punches to Mads and Dyer. Riddle with forearms and punches to everyone. Riddle and Tom go after everyone in the match. Riddle with forearms to everyone in the corners. Riddle and Tom with kicks to Shane. Riddle and Tom kick and chop Kojima.
Entrant 36 is Donovan Dijak.
Tom punches Kojima. Tom with punches to Dijak. Dyer punches Riddle. Dijak with an elbow to Riddle and an elbow to Tom. Dijak misses an elbow and Lawlor with a shoulder in the corner. Tom kicks Dijak and chokes him in the corner. Riddle punches Mads. Dyer with a forearm to Riddle.
Entrant 37 is Anthony Greene.
Greene punches Lawlor and hits a twisting cross body on Tom. Greene with a slam to Tom and a scorpion kick to Riddle. Shane punches Mads and goes for a tornado DDT but Mads kicks Shane to the floor to eliminate him. KUSHIDA sends Mads to the apron and Riddle tries to loosen his grip on the rope. Dijak eliminates KUSHIDA.
Entrant 38 is Titus Alexander.
Titus with punches to Greene followed by a drop kick to Greene. Titus with a handspring cutter to Lawlor. Mads grabs Kojima and hits a choke slam. Mads eliminates Kojima. Dijak gets in Mads' face and they exchange forearms and punches. Green gets a near fall on Titus. Greene punches Titus.
Entrant 39 is Dr. Dax.
Mads with elbows to Dijak. Dax with clotheslines to everyone. Dax goes for a choke slam on Riddle but Riddle eliminates Dax. Riddle and Lawlor with forearms to Greene. They send Green over the top rope to eliminate him. Dijak eliminates Lawlor but Riddle holds on and gets back into the ring. Dyer with a running Death Valley Driver to Titus and Titus is eliminated by Dyer.
Mads, Dijak, and Dyer surround Riddle.
Entrant 40 is Rob Van Dam.
While Rob takes his time to get to the ring, Dyer, Dijak, and Mads watch. Rob with shoulders to Dyer and a springboard side kick. Rob with a drop kick to Dijak and a jumping spin drop kick. Rob kicks Mads and Riddle with a forearm. Rob and Riddle with forearms. Riddle with a cutter and then Mads is eliminated by Rob and Riddle. Dijak and Dyer attack Rob and Riddle. Dijak with a forearm to Riddle but Rob eliminates Dyer and then he eliminates Dijak.
We are down to Van Dam and Riddle. They high five and fist bump. They hug and Riddle with a forearm and Rob fires back. They go back and forth. Rob blocks a kick but he misses a spin kick. Riddle with a waist lock and Rob with a back elbow. Riddle with a jumping knee. Riddle with a fisherman's buster. Riddle goes up top for a moonsault but he lands on his feet and rolls through when Rob moves. Rob with a kick tot he head. Rob with a single leg trip and he hits a leg drop. Rob with Rolling Thunder and then he goes up top for a Five Star Frog Splash. Riddle pushes Van Dam off the turnbuckles to eliminate him.
Winner: Matt Riddle (retains championship)
