We are back and Naomi calls her leech, scum, and opportunist. There are so many words to describe Jade, but the best one is snake. If I didn't push you off that ledge onto the windshield . . . Naomi cackles. She says it would have been her. She got rid of Jade and took her rightful place as champion. Her friendship with Bianca grew stronger. Now, Bianca won't look at her. There is no more fake loyalty. She is doing what is best for her. At Wrestlemania, she strongly advises you to proceed with Caution.
Jade says you thought you could duck and dodge her? Time has run out. She is not angry, she is pissed. You thought you knew what was best for her. You tried to take her out because of your insecurities. What happens when a star tries to fade? They take the shine from somewhere else. That is what it is about. The glow is fading and you are trying to stay relevant in any way. You were jealous she came in with so much star power, aura, and glow. This Wrestlemania, she is not a rookie any more. She is your biggest threat because a storm is coming.
We look at all of the WWE title belts over the years set up in the ring.
Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.
Cody says you got him flustered. You have always been good to him whether it is this arena, or Defy. This is the tangible definition of realized potential. It is the metric that stands. It says you are the best wrestler in the world. Cody says he is blessed to be able to carry this and its mighty weight. It is more than a match. It is the right to keep this at home. It is about the next 20 champions. Maybe someone in NXT or an ID talent, or someone in the crowd who wants to be champion. There is one man trying to take this away, John Cena.
John Cena has neglected to make Seattle part of his farewell tour. He has opted to be in Vegas for Smackdown next week. Cody says it would be cowardice to rebut what John said in London. Cody says that John said that the place of his tattoo makes him a common fan.
Cody says so what. He says he has this tattoo the same reason he wears this suit. He does want to be somebody, he is somebody. He runs through the people who won the titles on display in the ring. He stops at the spinner belt and he asks if it is somebody who led this company through good times and bad times over ten years. John considers this a bad thing. Cody says it is a man trying to break the wheel and find himself.
Cody says he is the WWE Champion and you are not. John is always teaching and preaching. Maybe this is the one time he can teach John and saw his father, as a career babyface. They can love somebody else. Cody says he calls himself the captain, but he runs through all of the talent in this company. He says they make each other better. He finds himself with the unenviable path of stopping your record breaking title reign. John means when he says he is leaving and he says he is taking the title. Cody says he is at his best when his back is against the wall. He will lead John to have his moment . . . to say goodbye.
He says it would be fun to say your time is up and his time is now. You know that. Cody says this is timeless and it stays home and with us.
We run through next week's Smackdown. John Cena will be there. We will have the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. Zelina Vega, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter face Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Alba Fyre. The Street Profits defend the tag titles against the Motor City Machine Guns.
Byron is with The Street Profits.
Byron asks about their tag title match.
Montez says they like Motor City and they saw a video from the Machine Guns and you can talk about what you don't have. Dawkins says they run this division.
Carmelo shows up and says you are running this division into the ground. He brings up the Miz.
Miz says the only joke is the tag division led by you two. It is a slap in the face of everyone to hold that title that they aren't on Wrestlemania. He is going to win the titles with Carmelo Hayes.
