Joey Janela vs. Sabu
No ropes, barbed wire on all four sides. Doors wrapped in barbed wire on the floor. Barbed wire boards. A barbed wire spider net on one side of the ring.
Here we go........
Big pop for each competitor.
Sabu is wearing a white suit.
Janela attacked Sabu from behind with a spike at the ring introductions.
Sabu gained control and almost sent Janela into the barbed wire but Janela was able to save himself.
Sabu grabbed a front guillotine.
Janela sent him into the barbed wire but the jacket saved him.
Janela worked over his back and stomped him. Janela beat him down and grabbed Sabu got a suplex. Sabu blocked it and nailed him with a clothesline.
Sabu pulled out a spike and drilled Janela with it.
Someone began blowing a whistle and it was BILL ALFONSO who came out with a chair. The crowd chanted "Holy sh**."
Sabu caught the chair and set it up. He teased a triple jump moonsault but stopped and flung it at Janela.
Sabu went to leap off the chair but missed Janela and crashed through barbed wire and down into a spider web of barbed wire, which was certainly NOT the plan.
Janela ripped the jacket off Sabu. The crowd chanted for him, then Sabu.
Sabu was whipped into a barbed wire board, crashing through that and the barbed wire and to the floor in the most insane way ever.
Fonzie, possibly trying to buy time, drilled Janela with a chair.
The Cogars ran out and attacked Janela and Alfonso. They put Fonzie through a table.
LIGHTS OUT.
ENTER SANDMAN.
Vegas is going ballistic for this.
Meanwhile, they are working over Sabu and he has a huge tear in his back.
After the grand entrance and singalong, massive ECW chant.
Sandman began caning the The Cogars and ran them off.
Sandman pointed at Sabu as the building chanted for him.
Janela nailed Sandman from behind.
Sabu attacked Janela and tossed him from the ring, crashing through two barbed wire covered doors.
The crowd chanted for Sabu.
Janela returned to the ring and Sabu offered a handshake.
Janela took it so Sabu tossed him out of the ring into the spider-net of barbed wire.
He flung a chair at Janela's head.
Janela freed himself.
They tried to whip each other into barbed wire. They began brawling back and forth with right hands.
Janela tossed him a chair and they dueled with chairs. Sabu won. Janela flung a chair at Sabu, then another.
Sabu hugged him.
Janela nailed him with a chair and said he was going to kill Sabu if he didn't bring it.
Sabu hit him and nailed Janela with a DDT on a chair.
The crowd chanted "This is awesome."
Janela and Sabu battled over the chair. Sabu got control and hit an Arabian Facebuster.
Sabu scored the pin.
Sabu wins his final match.
Wow, that was the spectacle of all ugly spectacles.
Janela cut a promo after saying that he didn't even know if the match was going to happen tonight but Sabu showed up and showed out. He said they had 2,000 fans here at an independent show and it was because of Sabu. He presented Sabu his Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame plaque. They embraced.
This was insane. Absolutely insane.
Sabu should never wrestle again, but I am sure at some point, he will, but this was quite the cap. It was mind-numbing violence and insanity.
