The show is streaming live on TrillerTV!
GCW Tag Team Champions Violence Is Forever vs. Alec Price & a mystery partner.
Price came out alone and dove off the entrance stage onto the champions. So, he's alone early. He maintained control against both early on. Kevin Ku cut him off with a brainbuster on the top rope. The champs doubleteamed Price and scored several two counts. They were going to beat him with the Tag belts but out came Price's regular partner Cole Radrick on crutches. He pointed to the backstage and out came Jordan Oliver, who had been out of action with an ACL injury for months. Vegas went nuts for Oliver tagging in and cleaning house, chanting "Welcome back." They cleaned house and scored the pin.
New champs!
This was fun. Ku and Garrini are really underrated. Price is going to be a star and Oliver's return was greatly received. A nice way to kick off the show.
Los Desperados (Arez & Gringo Loco & Jack Cartwheel) vs. The Wagner Family (Dr. Wagner Jr. & El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno Del Mal.)
This should be a lot of fun. Cartwheel and Hijo started out. Hijo tried to place him into a lucha submission. Cartwheel escaped but Hijo tossed out a Cartwheel of his own. Galeno tagged in and used his size and strength to work over Arez. Lots of fun lucha spots that the crowd loved, especially all the triple spots at the expense of Los Desperados. Hijo paid tribute to Eddy Guerrero and hit a top rope frog splash on Arez. I don't know I'll ever get to Arena Mexico but I imagine the vibe here is pretty similar. Fun stuff with The Wagner Family winning.
They are airing clips of prior Sabu barbed wire matches to build to the main event.
Megan Bayne vs. Bozilla.
Bozilla is the daughter of European star Ulf Hermann. They each showed off their strength and size. Vegas lost it when Bozilla shoulderblocked Bayne down. This was built like an old strong style bout in Japan with each getting the chance to show how tough they were. Bayne fought out of a bear hug. They battled back and forth with strikes and slaps and stereo clotheslines. In the end Bayne fought for the win and got it, but Bozilla showed a lot of promise. This was really damn good.
Zack Sabre Jr. vs. 1 Called Manders.
Sabre was trying to out-wrestle Manders, who kept cutting him down with hard chops and strikes. It was a nice mix of styles. Sabre drilled him with some evil, harsh kicks to the chest and back. You couldn't pay me enough! Manders endured that punishment and came back with a big clothesline that sent Sabre inside out and upside down. They went back and forth until Sabre scored the pin with the Backlund Bridge, shocking Manders.
Career vs. Mask: Atticus Cogar vs. Fuego Del Sol.
This is a big grudge match they have been building for some time. Fuego had an entrance with a bunch of people wearing his masks. They crashed to the floor during a suplex. They fought on the floors with tables and chairs involved. They battled on the floor and onto the entrance stage. There were several doors set up atop of chairs. Cogar pulled out scissors and tried to cut off the mask before jabbing it in Sol's head. EVIL. He repeated the feat with skewers. Cogar ran with an Air Raid Crash off the stage through the doors. Cogar dragged him back to the ring and tossed weapons into the ring. Fuego made a comeback but Cogar's brother Otis hit the ring and nailed a Black Hole Slam. Sam Stackhouse hit the ring and wiped him out with a rolling kick. Stackhouse hit a dive, sort of, through the ropes, which the crowd loved. The story evolved into Cogar having the awareness to take out Sol just as he was about to hit a move that could turn the moment. Fuego was told every time he kicked out, Stackhouse was going to be tormented. He was kicked with the skewers into his head but kicked out. Stackhouse was nailed with a chair by Otis. A 2x4 piece of wood with gussets was brought in the ring but Fuego avoided it and nailed a DDT. Stackhouse took out Otis as Sol placed Atticus on a door outside of the ring. Sol hit a 630 off the top through the door. It appeared Sol was going to finally finish him off but Cogar tazed Sol and pinned him with a Brain Hemorrhage onto a trash can of the ropes as Stackhouse was killed by an Otis chairshot.
Sol had Stackhouse loosen the mask but then stopped him. Sol removed the mask and handed it to Cogar. Cogar left triumphantly. Sol began removing his boots with the idea his career was over. Stackhouse tried to talk him out of it. The crowd chanted "Please don't go."
These guys just killed each other.
