Bron Breakker defends his IC Title against Penta, Dom Mysterio and Finn Balor.
Penta is out first. Great reaction. Dom came out with his dad's lucha mask on. What a heel! The funny thing is Dom had a problem getting it off. Then Finn came out. Interesting that they didn't come out together. Finn had a yellow mask and gloves. I have no idea what it meant and neither did Wade. The dogs were barking before Bron even came out.
Bron went after Penta right away and Finn and Dom worked together to throw him out of the ring. Penta took care of both of them but then got nuked by Bron out of nowhere. Bron is showing off his strength early. He speared Dom for a two count. Finn broke it up and Bron turned his attention to him. Bron's facials are great.
Bron did a double German Suplex on Penta and Finn and then kipped up. JEEZ! Bron charged the corner but Penta moved. That allowed Dom to get in some offense. He was getting pops for it too.
Carlito came out and Balor and Dom started working together. That didn't help with Bron destroying them though. Breakensteiner from the top on Finn got a two. The dude is a machine.
They managed to get Bron out so Dom attacked Finn. He went for a 619 but Finn blocked it and worked over Dom. Penta took advantage and almost got a pin but Bron saved his Title.
With the JD guys on the ground Bron faced off with Penta. Carlito got involved a lot to keep Penta from winning. Carlito cleared the announce table and went to take out Penta when Bron jumped from the other table and destroyed Carlito with a Spear! Cole said, "I think Carlito is dead!" Tremendous.
Back in the ring Dom came from behind on Bron and got the 619 on Bron. Dom went up for the splash and Finn stopped him. The crowd was pissed. Finn hit the Coup and as he was going for the cover Dom came out of nowhere and wiped out Finn, pinning his partner. The crowd went nuts. Dome left and the crowd was going nuts so he ran back to the ring with the belt and took it all in. It was an amazing moment and I couldn't be happier for Dom. He has worked so hard and gotten so good and the fans noticed and appreciate it. The story of him pinning Finn was great because tension was building for a while now between them. I can't wait to see how it plays out.
As for Bron, he didn't take the pin and was the clear star of the show. He will be fine. In fact, he will be more than fine. That dude is amazing.
Colby Covington, Metro Boomin and Dean Norris are in the crowd.
Randy Orton vs. ?
Great pop for Randy coming out. Whatever happens I am glad he is doing something on the show. He deserves it and the fans love him. They love to sing his song as well and they are doing it right now. They have hit 105 on the decibel meter. He seems to be enjoying every minute of it. Good for him, he deserves it.
Randy said he said he would be here and all that is left is who will come through the curtain. Whoever it is will get their Mania moment and the three most dangerous letters.
It's Joe FUCKING HENDRY! AWESOME! People are singing his song. This is fan-freakin-tastic! This was perfect, well done.
Randy's reactions have been great. He went for an RKO right away and Joe rolled him up for a two, Randy was impressed. He's also the TNA champion so you can't squash him. But Randy can go to the eyes, and he did. Now he is having fun. Well, he was. He went for the RKO and it was blocked. He took a fallaway slam. He smiled for the camera and that left him open for the RKO out of nowhere. Fun stuff, very well done. It was a great surprise and the TNA Champ got enough in.
After the match, Randy lifted Hendry up and told him to take it all in. He raised his arm to the crowd and then you know what happened next, RKO. I loved it and so did the crowd. That's pro wrestling. Randy posed for the crowd and patted Joe on the chest. Then he posed some more.
Money In The Bank will take place on June 7 in Los Angeles after the NXT/AAA show.
I wasn't looking forward to the shows this weekend but I have to say, so far......nah, I won't say it. No jinx here.
