AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul.
Paul came out doing the cell phone recording gimmick. He got a lot of boos. He should do the job here. AJ doesn't have a lot of Manias left at his age and Paul is not committing full time like he claimed he would. Have a great match and do the job to AJ Logan. AJ out next. Nice pop.
AJ was in control early and Logan threw him to the floor, where I noticed we have announce tables again! AJ used the apron to blind Paul and beat on him, like Fit Finlay used to do. AJ went to the floor where they started brawling. Crowd is totally behind AJ. Paul whipped AJ into the post and took control. He took his phone and live streamed. He used the apron on AJ then did a frog splash. If the dude did commit full time, he could be really good. But he makes way more money doing his other stuff and I don't blame him for making the coin.
Paul is emulating Hulk Hogan, which makes sense since they have so much in common. The crowd doesn't seem invested in this. Could be that the show has been super hot up until now or that they just don't care about Part Time Paul and/or the build for this.
AJ is coming back. There were boos when Paul kicked out of a brainbuster pin attempt.
Paul got a two with a lionsault attempt but it really feels like the crowd is ready for this to end. Or it's me projecting. This match had little build up and to me they are just doing moves. Paul got a two from a sweet slingshot Lariat and looked up for a reaction that wasn't there.
Paul went to use the gimmicked hand but AJ dropped him and got a two. There is very limited crowd heat for this. AJ did a springboard 450 and Paul got the knees up. He then did a Styles Clash to AJ. That pissed the crowd off. AJ rolled through it and did one of his own and that fired the crowd up. Jeff the Paul Stoige has brass knux and Karrion Kross grabbed them. AJ threw Jeff down. Kross put the knux on the apron. Kross begged him to use the knux on Paul for the industry. AJ said no. He threw them away. Paul then used the Pulverizer on AJ and got the pin.
The work was fine but I wasn't invested in the story and it was just moves to me. Maybe if Kross stopped the stooge and told AJ to go kick Paul's ass, and AJ did, it would have been better. But? This was the first thing all weekend I couldn't have cared less about. I hope I didn't jinx the show.

Vanessa Hudgens, Rana someone, Terrence Crawford and Quavo are there. Cole loved him. Cole knows Quavo about as much as I do.
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defend the Tag Titles against Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch.
Yes, I wrote that before Becky came out.
Champs are out first because, well, we need the dramatic Becky return moment.
Lyra came out and the fans do the woo thing in her song. That's a good thing when you are a wrestler. She came down to the ring smiling. Why? Because she knows that Becky is coming out. She got a huge pop. It makes sense in the storyline due to their past interaction. The fans are fired up for it so Bayley was collateral damage for the big pop. I understand it but I don't like it. Bayley should have been on this show and she got screwed. It sucks.
But again, Becky is getting a huge reaction so sometimes good people get what they don't deserve.
They are putting over that Liv put out so I expect Becky to pin Liv and take the Titles.
The Champs are dominating Lyra. Oh yeah, this feels like Becky makes the save and gets the win. The fans will like it and at least Becky didn’t steal a younger person’s spot.
The finish came after Liv hit Oblivion and Lyra broke it up. Becky hit The Manhandle Slam almost immediately on Liv and got the pin.
How do I feel? Well Liv has been an all star all year and went down to one move from an older wrestler who was trending down when she left. I don’t like that. If Liv takes Becky out in the long run? I will be OK with it then? If Becky doesn’t do what Charlotte did for Tiffy last night, I will hate it. Time will tell. Liv has been an all star and she got taken by one move. In the moment I did not like it and the match was OK at best to me.
I hope that what they do in the main event can surprise me. If not, I apologize for jinxing things. This is two duds in a row.
Steve Austin came out and crashed his buggy into the barricade, He said that the attendance was 63,226. He said it seems like more so he would count it himself. It was done to get whats and it worked. He stopped around 20. He said that 124,693 people came to the shows in total for two days.
Cody Rhodes defends vs. John Cena.
John came out first, hawking merchandise to people he doesn’t to want to buy it. Yeah that makes sense. He wasn’t well received.
Cody is out next. He has motorcycle riders going around the stage. Then he came out with his skull mask on and his music hit. Fans are singing but not like they did for Orton.
Cena got boos on the intro. Cody did too. So John was so good at holding people down, via Vince, for a decade and he may be doing it to Cody now. Buy his merchandise!
This is weird. Cody hit a tope and they booed. They booed Cena for being Cena. Cody dominated for the first five minutes but now John Jack is in control. If he wins this thing I fear that Cody is dead.
John is doing a lot of stuff that he usually doesn't do. Good for him. He isn't coasting.
Cena went for the five knuckle and they cheered. Cody stopped it and they booed. This is NOT GOOD.
It got worse. Cena had the pin after an AA and the people popped. Cody kicked out and they booed.
Remember when Eric Cartman said, "Oh my God, they killed Kenny?" That is what Cena and HHH may have done to Cody.
Cody hit an AA off the turnbuckle but Cody kicked out at two and the crowd hated it. I really hope Cody can come back from this.
Cody hit a Cutter from the top for a two.
Cena hit the AA and locked on the STF. The crowd wants a Title change. JEEZ.
Cody got near the ropes and John pulled him back. Cena has it on badly. This can't be the finish.
Cena bumped the ref. Cody hit Crossroads. The crowd is counting and got to 10. Oh man. Cody checked on the ref. Cena exposed the turnbuckle. Cena threw Cody into it twice and hit the AA. The ref came back but Cody kicked out at two. Cole said what a match and in a vacuum, he is right.
Travis Scott came out and started telling Cena what to do. Cody came back and hit a Crossroads. Scott pulled him away. If he is there for The Rock, why would he want Cena to win and take the Title home? Cody called Scott in and he went in.
OK, I am done. Cena cheated. Won the Title. The fans cheered for Cena's win. Cody is a dope and they may have killed him in the process. I have nothing else to say. This fucking sucked. I hated it and not in a heel heat kind of way.
